On September 21st, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), accompanied by the Russian Military Police, entered another town in the western Daraa countryside in order to launch the peaceful settlement of the conflict with former militants.
In early hours, SAA units entered the town of of Tal Shihab. The Russian Military Police will oversee the implementation of the reconciliation agreement.
After the local authorities joined the ceasefire agreement, a settlement center was established in a local schools, where dozens of militants have already passed the necessary procedures to settle their status and handed over their weapons.
The settlement involved former members of the government’s Fourth Division who defected from the government forces during the siege of Daraa al-Balad, Tariq al-Sad, and the neighboring areas.
However, the reconciliation process does not pass off without a hitch. The SAA still suffers regular attacks on its checkpoints in the region.
Late on September 20th, unidentified gunmen attacked the SAA military checkpoint east of Masakin Jalin in the western countryside of Daraa.
In response to the attack, the SAA soldiers opened fire, reportedly using mortar shells. No casualties were reported as a result of the clashes. However, one house in Masakin Jalin was reportedly damaged.
On September 8th, seven Syrian service members were killed and three others were injured in the western Daraa region in a roadside bomb attack.
Despite the rare attacks, Syrian troops entered the town of Tafas on September 18, where hundreds of militants have handed over their weapons. On September 16, the SAA raised the Syrian flag over Muzayrib in the western countryside of Daraa, claiming the success of the reconciliation agreement in the town. The first town to reach the reconciliation agreement with Syrian authorities was al-Yadudah.
These deals were reached thanks to the success of the recent reconciliation agreement in Daraa al-Balad, the southern part of Daraa city.
According to the agreement, Syrian government troops will soon enter four more settlements: Zaizun, Ajami, Nahj and Favar.

Proper strategy by the SAA and their allies. The kurdish/US backed traitors would be wise to do the same.
Unfortunately, it will likely be ballistic missiles that “change” their minds.
The zionists are crying and soon the turkish orcs will cry too!!
