Well, if “hulk” can launch airplanes into air instead into water, I’d give it a chance.
considering that the risk of a aircraft falling in the water after launch is far less on a ski jump type then a catapult i wold say no since the sky jump cant fail its a fixed object and the aircraft takes off under its own power not to mention its faster then a catapult and can launch 3 aircraft at once instead of 2 but the problem with that is that the aircraft have a reduced weapons and fuel load compared to catapult launches.

I didn’t say the USA use the aircraft on combat missions, they use them for training. They train pilots permanently. Probably US Navy flies 1000x times than Russian Navy. US Navy has more planes than entire Russia military. 5-10 airplanes lost per year in accidents are nothing. Russia lost in Syria 11 from which 5 in accidents and those are the elite of the Russian planes. In a real war many Russian pilots would die in stupid accidents.
