On the night of July 20, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a massive drone attack in the Russian rear regions. The largest wave of strikes targeted the southern Russian Rostov region.
According to unofficial Russian reports, the region was targeted by 30 Ukrainian UAVs. The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the interception of 26 Ukrainian drones.
Some of the drones reached the target. At least four Ukrainian UAVs reportedly struck a military airfield located on the western outskirts of the town of Millerovo. Then, Russian military sources reported that the attack resulted in minor damage. As a result, of the strikes some depots and buildings were damaged. All aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces timely took off. As a result, the strikes did not affect them.
Today, pro-Ukrainian sources published the satellite imagery showing the results of the Ukrainian attack, confirming Russian reports. The imagery confirmed that the local fuel depot and repair facility were damaged by fire that broke out as a result of the drone strikes.
The constant Ukrainian strikes on the Russian border regions are mainly repelled by the Russian air defense forces; but some of the UAVs reach their targets and inflict damage both to the civilian and military infrastructure. If NATO agrees to allow the Ukrainian military to launch strikes on the Russian territories with Western missiles, the threat to the Russian military facilities may grow, mainly to the strategically important military airfields in the Wesern Russian regions.
After more than two years of hostilities, the recently appointed Russian Defense Minister was quated promising to build shelters for aircraft at Russian military airfields in order to protect them from missile attacks. The Minister assured the journalists that a schedule of construction of new fortifications was approved and ‘shelters will definitely be built.’

nobody here in europe likes the ukraine. ukrainians are a geopolitical tool, used for our purposes (i think that is ok as long as we find stupid peoples like in ukraine, they should die not we, as lindsey graham put it). some strikes in the russian rear are not pleasant but don’t change the strategic picture.

there are a few such nations that have their problems to find a peaceful coexistence with their neighbors or their own minorities. the ukraine is such a nation, unfortunately too stupid to understand that it is sacrificed for our purposes by stirring up these hostilities. too bad, gonna be cheap labour and products for europe.

the problem for ukraine is not that they don’t get enough weapons or have enough troops. they sell the weapons they are given. the troops surrender or flee conscription. russians aren’t killing very many ukrainian troops. they are being killed by their officers and politicians. ukraine is just a country that does nothing but fail, sell itself out and export people since 1991. ukrainian independence is like letting toddlers babysit themselves.
