On September 24, Israel’s ImageSat Intl. released a new series of photos showing the supposed ‘Iranian base under construction’ in Syria’s al-Bukamal. The images show that Israeli strikes failed to stop construction works in the area.

A whole new alternate route has been built to get to Damascus and it is protected by thousands of PMU and Hezbollah units. Over 20,000 Pakistanis and Afghans from the Zainabiyoun Brigade and Liwa Fatemiyoun are responsible for security also with Hezbollah special forces. These are very tough motivated volunteers that came to protect Syria from Zionist, Americunt and Wahhabi terrorism and hardly shrinking violets who will be scared of Zionist crappy drone. They are now getting AD systems anyway.

Some of them deserve to be given the option to stay, citizenship. Given all they gave for Syria. But reality is that those groups were there for the purpose of live training and getting battle hardened with acquiring military equipment for their own domestic causes in the process. Intention was never to stay in Syria, which is evident in Hezbollah’s role but similarity is evident among all the other groups, even Chinese official and unofficial troops are there in Syria so you get the picture. Most important, Assad would be losing legitimacy in case that foreign fighters stay and make bases in Syria. Armies of Syrian allies (Russian and Iranian army) are another thing and their military presence is benefiting both Assad and Syrian people.
Lot’s of them have married local women and have children in Syria now and will remain there. The primary purpose was to protect the Shia shrines from the Wahhabi headchoppers and these guys proved ferocious. General Qassem Soleimani personally thanked the Pakistanis for excellent job in defending Damascus. Some were forced to leave and that was the only safe option since government held areas were separated and impossible to reach from many Syrian territories which were held by the so called rebels. I would not say that many Syrian simply ran because of this reason. With easing of situation they will return, well at least many do wish to return.
President Assad has done the right thing by granting general amnesty.
Indeed, that was great move. If you remember his speech where he addressed terrorism and extremism and how to deal with it. Proposed solution was not dealing with bullets, but with pen and paper. For that reason Assad already gave partial amnesties since 2014 (and maybe even earlier but i do not have source for earlier years of the conflict). Generally independent leaders of sovereign countries are well educated and intelligent people, Assad is one of them and his political decisions prove that point beyond doubt.
They should stay – Israel needs to be disappeared! Perhaps the Brits can take the Jewish scum?
If Israel only learned to behave there would be no problem of making two states based on green line, 1947. Palestinians even agreed to accept 1967 borders, which are more unfavorable to them than 1947. Still, thieves wan’t it all. Now they say Jerusalem is their capital when in reality every nation, except the USA, acknowledges only the West Jerusalem as Israeli capital – that too contradicts decisions made in League of Nations and UN after.
