Between July 19 and July 22, Iranian state media released satellite images showing before-and-after damage at four military sites recently targeted by the Islamic Republic in Qatar, Iraq, Jordan, and Kuwait, all of which host United States forces.
The most prominent of the strikes hit Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, the largest U.S. military installation in the Middle East and the forward headquarters of U.S. Central Command.
The images show what is described as a central logistics warehouse for aircraft parts, with a marked area of damage inside one of two large hangar buildings. Al Udeid houses the Combined Air Operations Center, which coordinates American air operations across the region, so any confirmed damage to its logistics infrastructure would carry real operational weight.

In Iraq, the images show an impact at Erbil Air Base, where a tent housing aerostat surveillance equipment was destroyed. Erbil has long hosted U.S. forces and has been under attack on a regular basis, making it one of the more frequently contested American footholds in the country.

Meanwhile in Jordan, the images turned to Tower 22, where a structure used to house military personnel was hit, with roughly 40 meters of visible damage running across one building in a row of barracks. The outpost has been a flashpoint before. More than two years ago, a drone attack there killed three U.S. soldiers.

The fourth site seen in the images is Ahmad Al-Jaber Air Base in Kuwait, where an FPS-117 early-warning radar installation had been destroyed. Intact in the before image, the radar appears reduced to a blackened crater in the after image.
Al-Jaber has served as a hub for U.S. Air Force operations in the Gulf, and radar of this kind is generally considered a high-value target, since losing it would degrade regional early-warning coverage rather than damage a single facility in isolation.

Iranian missile and drone strikes have become more effective in recent days, which indicates that the air defenses of the U.S. and its allies have been degraded.
The ongoing limited confrontation between the U.S. and Iran, which began on July 7, is spinning out of control. The memorandum of understanding signed by the two sides last month to end the war has already collapsed, and a wider regional conflict may be just a few days away.
