Sattelite Images: New S-400 Deployment In Crimea

Support SouthFront

Israel’s Image Sat International released sattelite images showing a deployment of the S-400 system in Dzhaknoi Airbase in the Russian Republic of Crimea.

The system was deployed in the area following the November 25 incident between a Ukrainian naval group and Russian coastal buards in the Black Sea, south of the Kerch Strait.

According to the available data, there are a total of 4 battalions of the S-400 air defense system deployed in Crimea. The known locations are Dzhankoi, Feodosia, Evpatoria and Sevastopol.

This is a regiment group. But they are mobile :)

paul ( original )

Yes that is what I was thinking. So giving their ‘deployment location’ location is not very meaningfull. I would hope that at any one time their location would be unknown.

If it’s a cloudy day Russia wins, if is sunny, America wins.

Ricky Miller

With four S400’s battalions for mutual fire support and shorter range SAM’s to target attacking missiles Russia wins sunny or rain. This is Crimea, not Syria. Russia’s supply lines are short, America’s long here. Having the U.S. attack Russia here would be like a gift from Orthodox heaven. To quote Nike: “Just Do It…”

occupybacon

Actually I was joking but i got the idea, you have such a miserable life that you wish to die and take everybody else with you. I’d put all Russians on antidepressants if I was Putin.

John Whitehot

“America wins”

not that it happened a single time in the latest 70 years.

occupybacon

Did anyone take their champion belt?

John Whitehot

you mean the fake one made of cardboard they ‘ve made up for themselves?

occupybacon

Got it, it’s a case of sour grapes.

John Whitehot

imo it’s a battalion group not regiment. the deployment configuration still means little.

beypuutyina

like tigers

James

So what’s up with the sudden additional S-400 deployment in Crimea? Is Ukraine planning to attack by air?

1691

Not sure if Ukraine had the means for that but uk and nato are on stand by. It is good to be prepared.

James

True, but they could hit Russia any which way, so why the focus on Crimea? I feel like I’m answering my own question but it sounds like it is the excuse they need for the gullible minds in the West.

1691

Yes, you are right. One of the reasons is the “justification” for the presence. Another one might be the “just” return of Crimea to Ukraine, yet there might be something else: from Ukraine nato and uk can easily surround and attack Crimea by land and sea. That’s why Ukraine wants nato, usa, uk ships in Azov sea.

Django

Do not think of Crimea nor of Ukraine, … The main reason remains the ancient hatred and revenge against the Russians whose first tsar ‘Ivan the Terrible’, has driven the Khazars and thus the current Ashkenazi-Jews from their habitat in the Caucasus … Therefore Russia must and will be overrun, destroyed and divided.

These devilish powers do not forget and forgive, even though they try to ‘believe’ us, lower people, that we have to stick to countless norms and values for a dignified life. Especially now that this Anglo-zionists, they themselves are getting closer and closer to the wall, and their carefully constructed empire is undermining itself under planned mismanagement, corruption and deceit. Blood feud is pronounced and continues to apply forever.

Tomorrow is another day but this evil we will not be able to eradicate today, tomorrow will have to go on for centuries again … The deprogramming of our world, away from fear and hatred, anger and powerlessness, rescuing in eternal revenge … will take us longer than life is us. And there is more required to it than a division S-400’s.

Sinbad2

Image Sat International, seems to spend a lot of time spying on Russia?

John Whitehot

it’s israel buying images and satellite time from them actually.

their sats just follow their orbits and image wherever customers ask for.

i suppose that, having enough money, one could ask them pictures to see if their wives are cheating and all.

Sinbad2

Image Sat is the Israeli Government.

Earth Resources Observation Satellite (EROS) is a series of Israeli commercial Earth observation satellites, designed and manufactured by Israel Aircraft Industries. The satellites are owned and operated by ImageSat International, another Israeli company.

Israel Aircraft Industries has 16,000 employees is wholly owned by the government of Israel.

John Whitehot

but what is the label reading “Distribution AIRBUS DS”?

Sinbad2

A deception?

John Whitehot

Nope. It means airbus defense and space, which has more than 50 earth observing sats and from which Israel buys these pics.

Sinbad2

I stand corrected, Israel must be buying pics from AirBus

Selbstdenker

From what I am seeing, they didn’t follow the guidance for deployment of entities. The distance of each vehicle to each other is too close, with the risk to have several units damaged/destroyed by a single weapon. Minimum distance should be 50 meters between each unit. Maybe this is a bait site?

John Whitehot

this isn’t a combat deployment wiseass.

Selbstdenker

John, if one deploys an air defense system to a location, which is in a conflict zone with deteriorating environmental conditions, deployment rules are to assume worst case scenario. That means, that a hot conflict can start any time, hence the deployment is to be done like in a war like scenario. As AD systems are first priority targets, there may be no time to adjust to war conditions when it gets hot. So for what reason would the Russians set up an AD system in the manner they did, ignoring basic principles of war fare? Please answer, wiseass.

John Whitehot

the system is mobile and this is just a forward base, not the final deployment.

why it’s not in combat deployment?

Because neither the goddamned missiles and the radar are erect. I could detail other things, but the above seems foolproof enough.

this system may well be in a reserve status, for all you know – “wiseass not ignoring basic principles of war” otherwise known as ” ziojihadist trollin scumbags”

Selbstdenker

John, what went wrong in your life? You should take care about your mental health, no need to embarrass yourself in public.

John Whitehot

“no need to embarrass yourself in public”

I’m satisfied with having embarassed you and your “basic principles of war” actually.

Selbstdenker

don’t worry about me, it’s you you should be worried about. Over reacting on issues like the above isn’t a normal reaction. You should let your mental state checked by a specialist.

John Whitehot

“don’t worry about me” no doubt.

“Over reacting on issues like the above” no overreaction.

I constantly have to deal with people who first spew nonsensical rubbish and then go into a rage for not being able to push their ziojihadist dirt.

besides: the number of technical comments you made was 2, of which one is a question (the latter including some early signs of mental distress).

i’m waiting for these military trained penta-liars to take your place, because so far it’s been like shooting on the red cross.

Selbstdenker

well, I wish you all the best. You need it.

occupybacon

Indeed, it’s a photo shot deployment

FB

Or… these images could actually be showing this…

http://www.militarydecoy.com/html/InflatableMissile/InflatableMissile-79.htm

‘Maskirovka’ has been a fundamental part of the Russian military doctrine for a very long time…we saw it used quite effectively by the Serbs against the Nato bombing in 1999…

wwinsti

So when the Israelis had to choose imaging targets for the stillite time/money they spent, the supposedly ‘decimated’ Hezbollah targets in Syria from the recent ballistic attack lost out some Russian air defense parking arrangements in Crimea. Interesting.

beypuutyina

On the upper photo, at 96L6 is the shadow of Torik Makhto. :)
