Positions for testing the PL-19 Nudol anti-ballistic missile and anti-satellite weapon system have been discovered at the Plesetsk range in the town of Mirny, Arkhangelsk Oblast, according to a report in the Russian military blogosphere.
HINT: The PL-19 Nudol is a Russian anti-ballistic missile and anti-satellite weapon system in development by JSC Concern VKO Almaz-Antey. According to reports, it’s expected to be capable of targeting communication and imagery satellites in low Earth orbit. However, it also possesses characteristics of the missile defense system.

The sattelite image above also allows to see an unidentified vehicle on the MZKT-69221 chassis. It could include some communication and start-up support equipment. Earlier, Almaz Antey purchased MZKT-69221-032 chassis for its Nudol missile system.

According to reports, the construction of launch sites started in late 2015-early 2016. The wester site had been finished by the summer of 2017. The construction of the eastern site was finished somewhat later. Preparations for large-scale construction of infrastructure can be spotted near the siites.
The sattelite images reveal that since the spring of 2018, the presence of Nudol missile launchers have not been hidden from satellites. No masking measures are employed and launchers remain on their positions when sattelites make pictures. The total number of launchers sppotted on satellite images, presumably, does not exceed four units.
