Saudi King To Relinquish Throne To His Son Within Next Two Days - Report

Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is planning to relinquish power in favor of his son, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, within the next two days, the UK-based Rai al-Youm newspaper reported on November 8.

The report didn’t reveal the source of the information, or provided any further details.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is the son of King Salman, the two launched an “anti-corruption” campaign back on November 4. The campaign targeted dozens of Saudi officials in the government and the army, and several members of the Saudi royal family.

Many analysts said that the real aim of the “anti-corruption” campaign is to strengthen the grip of Prince Mohammed bin Salman so he would face no opposition from the Saudi royal family when he became the king.

It was previously reported that many members of the Saudi royal family objected the appointment of Prince Mohammed bin Salman as the Saudi Crown Prince because he is only 32 years old, which is very unusual in the history in Saudi Arabia.

Kin Salman arrived to Mecca city on November 8. This could be an evidence that the Saudi King is really planning to relinquish power in favor of his son, because  holy city of Mecca is where the Saudi royal family appoint the King, and the Crown Prince.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Kuwait ordered their citizens to leave Lebanon immediately. The Middle East appears to be on the verge of a new war.

This is getting interesting quickly! We will soon see if bin Salman is a reformer or just another Erdogan or Kim Jong!

Thegr8rambino

he will be another buffoon thats for sure lmao

Jens Holm

According to most I read and see, there will be no real reforms – only needed “Has to”.

Richard M

It may be so. …I read varied sites and some extol bin Salman’s virtues, yet others say he is Satan incarnate…..I admit to being uncertain. So I am just watching with interest!

as

Both Erdogan and Kim Jong have a strong political base and support. This guy and his father Salman is a muppets. Salman is the 6th to the throne and MBS is 32 years old rich boy who didn’t accomplish anything. There’s nothing more disgrace done to your legitimacy to rule than to run crying for help to another country.

Richard M

Agreed. There are definite signs of cracks in the facade.

Emilia M.

Let’s wait. If you read it in South Front, then there’s only a 15% chance that it’s true.

Richard M

I intend to wait. I am truly curious to see the outcome. As for South Front’s veracity, they are only 14% more accurate than the MSM!

I guess his father got an invitation he cannot refuse :)

Lots of Wolves and Vultures circling while Saudi flee with suitcases of wealth. Euro banks or elsewhere get % fee on transfer of wealth. MBS may have a short reign as King…..money being vengefull and all that : )

Jens Holm

I see no Sauds flee. I see Sauds making less oil money and many can see, that they have to change things in their production or in lack of own production.

One big sector here are installing solar electricity, but they have to produce more more wide and keep its own population in a satisfied condition and thats making their money themselves replacing just buying from the outside.

Solomon Krupacek

this young padawan is very unexperienced and will destroy the ksa.

Thegr8rambino

from your mouth to gods ears lol!

Solomon Krupacek

again: i am simply realistic :)

Thegr8rambino

I prefer being optimistic

Solomon Krupacek

i not. this phase of life i left behind

Thegr8rambino

may i ask why?

Solomon Krupacek

because i lost only.

if i am realistic, i enjoy the positive things, and can better reign over negative ones.

Thegr8rambino

My intuition tells me when I should be realistic and when its okay to be optimistic and usually its right :)))

Thegr8rambino

But I try never to be pessimistic

Thegr8rambino

Nothing wrong with being realistic

Solomon Krupacek

sometimes painful

Thegr8rambino

yes

Jens Holm

I dont think so, but they should need some reforms fx making more sauds of both gender taking over more vital things.

John

I very much agree with you on this one Solomon. MBS seems to be fostering increased chaos, while creating more enemies, not less. I think he might have some fun for a bit but, there will be lots of screaming in the not too distant future for him. Cheers.

Jens Holm

Yes, thats the main reason for the changes. Only one King at the top and removel of all potentiel opposition in classic ways.
