Saudi-led Coalition Develops Its Advance, Captures Key Base In Taiz Province

Illustrative

On May 11, the Saudi-led coalition and its proxies continued developing their military operation in the southwestern province of Taiz and captured the al-Omar military camp along the western coast of the province, according to the UAE-based al-Arabiya TV. Al-Arabiya TV said that the Houthis had withdrawn from the military camp without a fight.

Yemeni sources also reported that the Saudi-led coalition had secured Mawza district, which was captured by the Houthis on May 10 along with the key region of al-Brah northeast of it. Reportedly, Houthi fighters also withdrew from these regions without a fight.

By imposing its control of the al-Omar military camp, the Saudi-led coalition fully secured supply lines to its troops in the western Yemeni coast. The military camp also gives the coalition a better position to oversee the naval traffic in the Bab-el-Mandeb strait, according to al-Arabiya TV.

Observers believe that the remaining positions of the Houthis in Taiz province will fall into the hands of the Saudi-led coalition in the upcoming weeks, if the Yemeni group fails to launch a well-coordinated and successful counter-attack.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OzgKd1cl8Ow How the Saudi Blockade is Starving Yemen Oh my God small kids dying due to starvation. They have no food due to blockade …..

1. The Largest Humanitarian Disaster. 2. 8 Million People Hungary. 3. About 11,000 people killed. 4. About 50,000 people injured. 5. Entire villages and towns have been demolished and erased from the earth.

Russia, China and Pakistan could help to open blockade on Houthis, stop oppression and aggressions on them and send humanitarian aid in emergency. There is need of reconciliation between different groups. Saudis tell to Yemen nation that accept Hadi as president otherwise you all will die and nobody will know. Shame

northerntruthseeker .

This has turned into a war of attrition… The criminal Saudi forces are being rearmed massively by their American puppets while the Houthis have no means of getting any resupplies at all…. Eventually that reaches a tipping point where the Houthis will run out of ammunition and means of defending their nation and sadly the Saudis will win…

Smaug

The Saudi led coalition has more than enough firepower to theoretically end the war right now, the problem is the human one. None of the coalition states want to bare the brunt of the assault on the Houthis, and neither do any of the sub-factions within those states and so one down. On the other hand, no overall leadership has immerged over all the Houthi communities so no coordinated effort is possible. I am 90% sure that this newest attack will slowly develop into a steady series of offensives that will bring the Houthis back under the control of the Hadi government.
