On October 28, the Saudi-led coalition announced that its air-defenses had intercepted five ballistic missile which were launched from Yemen, allegedly by the Houthis (Ansar Allah).
In a statement shared by the Saudi Press Agency, the coalition revealed that the target of the missile attack was the southern Saudi province of Jizan.
“We are taking the necessary measures to neutralize the [Houthis] special capabilities in accordance with international humanitarian law,” the statement reads.
So far, the Houthis have not commented on the Saudi-led coalition’s claims. The Yemeni group does not announce all of its attacks on the Kingdom.
The Houthis stepped up their missile and drone attacks on Saudi Arabia following the recent withdrawal of US air-defense systems from the Kingdom.
Around a week ago, the Houthis targeted the Saudi military Jizan Force camp with five ballistic missiles. The attack was successful. Dozens of Saudi service members were reportedly killed. Furthermore, the camp sustained some serious material damage.
The Houthis’ repeated attacks on Saudi Arabia are meant to disturb the coalition’s operations in Yemen. The coalition dedicates large resources to stop these attacks.
“Saudi-led coalition announced”? Could we be more specific as to the actual source of information?
Saudia Arabia was able to shoot down the Houthi missles with the “divine wind” emanating from MBS’s arse, according to the Gluteus Maximus, Roman poet-philosopher and ancestor to Poko Molo.
Surely it is a fake interception….the purpose is to make believe that Saudi air defense work well…
That’s not true. Missiles hits targets. We saw smoke in Heslinki.
