The Saudi-led coalition and its Yemeni proxies imposed control of the “May 22” Hospital and several other positions in the western part of the coastal city of al-Hudaydah following fierce clashes with the Houthis, the Emirates News Agency (ENA) reported in the late hours of November 9.
“The [Saudi-backed] Yemeni Joint Resistance forces took full control of new strategic areas in the Western parts of al-Hudaydah, in addition to the Yemen Mobile roundabout, the Red Sea silos and mills and the Faculty of Engineering, while continuing their advance towards As-Saleh city, in the Eastern part of al-Hudaydah,” ENA’s report reads.

Meanwhile, local sources informed the France-Press Agency (AFP) that more than 110 Houthi fighters and 22 Saudi-backed Yemeni fighters were killed in the last 24 hours as a result of the clashes around and inside al-Hudaydah.
The Houthis cut several supply routes of the Saudi-led coalition on the western Yemeni coast during the last few days. However, the coalition is still advancing in al-Hudaydah thanks to its aerial superiority. This situation may change when coalition forces reach the urban areas in the heart of the strategic city.

Also, look at casualty figures for 24 hours on a narrow portion of front. Compare to reports from Arab gulf media (pro-Coalition) of 70 Houthi killed in intense clashes over broader front over several days. Further, Coalition losses much less than Houthis yet advancing into city which is costly and why 200 Coalition dead or 3 times Houthi casualties. Now it is one fifth of Houthi casualties.
So, we have twice the Houthi casualties inflicted in one day compared to four days and over a narrow front versus a wide front. And now casualties of Coalition flip to far less than Houthi when before it was far higher than Houthi.
The Coalition must have discovered Voldemort’s personal magic wand since it is a magical development. Coalition propaganda tends to forget to consider what they reported prior which makes catching them easy.
Just clicked on the link provided with the map and its latest report says that the coalition of curs attack has been halted with its supply lines cut and large numbers of destroyed vehicles. Suggest SF finds a more credible source than ENA.
