Saudi-led Coalition Shares Footage Of Recent Airstrikes On Houthi Underground Camps In Sanaa

A bomb laden F-15S taking off for a mission in Yemen.

On November 26, the Saudi-led coalition shared information about its recent airstrikes on the so-called Presidential Camps south of the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, which is held by the Houthis (Ansar Allah).

Coalition warplanes carried out two waves of airstrikes on the camps, on November 24 and 25. The first wave hit missile and drone workshops as well as ammunition depots of the Houthis, while the second wave targeted advanced weapons the Houthis attempted to move out from the camps.

Several aerial photos released by the Saudi-led coalition shows a number of underground facilities and tunnels at the Presidential Camps which the Houthis used to store and manufacture advanced weapons, such as ballistic missiles and suicide drones.

A video shared by the coalition also shows a pinpoint airstrike destroying a truck attempting to move what appears to be a large missile out from the President Camps.

The coalition renewed its airstrikes on Sanaa early on November 27, this time targeting the district of Dahban in the northern part of the city. The coalition claimed that the airstrikes targeted drone workshops and ammunition depots of the Houthis. No casualties were reported.

The Houthis have already warned that Saudi Arabia will face “serious consequences” for the coalition’s intense airstrikes on Yemen.

Last week, the group launched more than a dozen suicide drones at the Kingdom. More attacks will likely be launched soon.
