Saudi-led Coalition Strikes Yemen’s Sanaa Airport To Disturb Houthi Drone Operations

On November 28, the Saudi-led coalition announced that its warplanes had carried out a series of airstrikes on the international airport of the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, which is held by the Houthis (Ansar Allah).

“The airstrikes were a rapid response to a threat, the launch of drones from Sanaa International Airport … The operation was carried out in accordance with international humanitarian law and its customary rules,” the coalition said in a statement shared by the Saudi Press Agency.

The Yemeni al-Masirah TV confirmed that at least three airstrikes targeted Sanaa International Airport. The channel didn’t report any losses, however.

The airstrikes were carried out to disturb Houthi drone operations. Just a day earlier, the Saudi-led coalition said that the Houthis had launched what it described as a “reconnaissance drone” from Sanaa International Airport.

The Saudi-led coalition stepped up its airstrikes on Sanaa in the last few days, despite receiving direct threats from the Houthis.

  • On November 24, the coalition targeted a secret drone factory located in the western part of Sanaa city.
  • On November 24 and 25, the coalition targeted missile and drone workshops, ammunition depots and advanced weapons to the south of the city.
  • On November 27, the coalition targeted drone workshops and ammunition depots located in the northern part of Sanaa city.

The Houthis are yet to respond to the Saudi-led coalition’s recent airstrikes on Sanaa. The group may be preparing a large-scale attack with missiles and drones on Saudi Arabia.

These Saudi idiots actually believe the Houthi launch their drones from a public airport.

Their time is short. We await the Fall of the house of Saud
