The Saudi-led coalition announced on June 13 that its warplanes had struck Houthi positions that “posed a threat to regional and international security.”
According to the coalition, the targets included missiles’ factories and storage facilities, ammo depots and “foreign experts”, who were supporting the Houthis. Al-Arabiya said that the targets were located in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa and the nearby province of Dhamar.
The aerial attack appears to be a response to the recent attack on Abha International Airport in southern Saudi Arabia. A “cruise missile” launched by the Houthis hit the airport’s arrival hall jurying more than 26 people.
Col. Turki al-Malki, a spokesman for the Saudi-led coalition, had warned that the missile attack will be met with “urgent, immediate, strict procedures” and that the “terrorists” responsible for the attack “will be held accountable.”
The Saudi-led coalition carried out several similar aerial operations during the last few months. While the coalition claims that these operations are limiting the Houthis offensive capabilities, the Yemeni group’s repeated attacks on Saudi Arabia say otherwise.

Their intel is fine and accurate, they deliberately target civilians. Here’s the logic: Yemeni military and Ansarallah know what they’re in for, do not expect to fight and not getting hurt and most importantly do not fear [their own] death, the usual condition for the ones who fight an invader. They fight for their belief, their country and their people who support them in return. The Yemeni resistance do not take refuge in cities and take the fight to the outskirts to prevent civilian harm, even their enemy’s civilians. The invading force knows this and uses targeting the civilians as a means to pressure the fighters. They probably learnt it from the US military who turned harming civilians into an art. However, as you know it’s not exclusive to the Americans, Britain, France and others also used and still use this dirty trick, not to forget the Israeli butchers (a more complicated and more dangerous phenomenon, as it has religious and ideological aspects to it too).

Don’t saudi has been saying this for 5 years already. I think that we can all agree that they are only targeting places that already targeted, empty buildings or civilians. They are so confused that hadi foreign minister quit and they are shoveling a away to look good after the yemeni army redoplyed their forces in the 3 ports
