The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the U.S.-led coalition have arrested dozens of ISIS terrorists in three separate security operations in northeastern Syria.

In the first two operations, which took place on October 13, special forces of the SDF and the U.S.-led coalition arrested 22 terrorists in the town of Zeiban in eastern Deir Ezzor and the town of Aldashisha in southern al-Hasakah. Light arms were seized.

In the third operation, which took place on October 15, three terrorists were apprehended in the town of al-Howl in eastern al-Hasakah. Weapons and equipment were found with the terrorists, who attempted to smuggle ISIS relatives from the infamous al-Howl Camp.

The SDF and the U.S.-led coalition stepped up their joint security operations in the northeastern region in the last few months. Nevertheless, the region is still infested with ISIS cells.

ISIS influence in the northeastern region will likely continue to grow due to the fact that the SDF is compromising its own counter-terrorism policy.

While the SDF is conducting successful security operations against ISIS cells, it judiciary system is failing. On October 15 only, more than 630 men convicted with terrorism were released by the Kurdish-led group.

Local terrorism convicts are usually released by SDF within a few years, if not months in order to appease local public figures and tribal leaders in the northeastern region.

I do wonder how long it will be before the SDF stops pretending and becomes the KDF?

As for terrorists arresting other terrorists in a land neither has a right too, it’s only a matter of time before the SAA settle the disputes between them.

So SDFs were not allowed to defend themselves, when Assads didnt???

They have every right to posses, what they have. Assads for decades has shown, they have not. Assads are theterrorists in this and as Turks has grown antiterror.

“Local terrorism convicts are usually released by SDF within a few years, if not months in order to appease local public figures and tribal leaders in the northeastern region” IS HIGHLY IN-ACCURATE.

All taken in as ISIS or semi ISIS as soon as possible has been highly classified and by that also are punished after their level and credentials and much more then a trigger finger is minus.

Its seemes totally ignored, that SDFs has asked for help in those matters for Years and have got none. So therefore they hopefully do their best as well as UN feed them.

It took me more than 13 minutes to write my comment due to interruptions, and yet you’d already sent me a reply before I’d even managed to post mine, so WTF is going on, that should be impossible, how can you reply to a post that hasn’t even been posted yet, something stinks to high heaven here, who do you really work for.

A perfect example for the reintroduction of legal slavery, let them pay for their own upkeep and also pay restitution to their victims [or families], 5 years, 10 years, 20 years, life, sounds fair to me for the Isis Zealots. But slavery only as a punishment for criminal convictions of, abhorrent violence/killings, kidnappings, and sexual slavery, not anything else. And it should be the US and EU nations who help pay for the Isis fighters, they used Isis as a justifiable excuse to invade Syria, so now they shouldn’t shy away from the responsibility of paying for their continued upkeep, fairs fair.
