On September 27, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), backed by units from the U.S.-led coalition, carried out a security operation in southeastern Deir Ezzor.
The operation took place inside the town of al-Sabhah in the Middle Euphrates River Valley. Two unidentified men were arrested in the course of the operation, according to the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
Earlier in the morning, two unidentified gunmen shot and killed an SDF fighter in al-Sabhah. The security operation may have targeted the attack perpetrators.
The SDF and the U.S.-led coalition are once again intensifying their security operations in the eastern and southeastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. These regions enjoy an Arab majority.
Two days ago, the SDF and the U.S.-led coalition launched a large-scale security operation in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. The operation targeted ISIS cells, hideouts and smuggling routes along the border with Iraq.
ISIS remains the biggest threat facing the SDF in Deir Ezzor. Nevertheless, the last few months saw a sharp increase in attacks carried out by Arab locals, whether tribal fighters or pro-government groups.
But what a fucking security operation, when you go armed into someone else’s house, you’re just a piece of delinquent shit.
It is used where I live if the people inside are suspects and maybee armed.
You dont become police to be a suicers – I think. It seemes different where You come from. People there dont defend themself and the hardheaders probatly uses tomatoes.
US elections are getting closer and Isis is running amok, so I wonder if Trump can pull another rabbit out of the hat and do something to mesmerise the American voters, a big win against Isis could translate to a boost in popularity just before the election, so I wouldn’t be surprised if something was on the cards.
