The Kurdish-dominated Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) hopes that the US military will stary in Syria for decades, spokesman for the SDF, Talal Silo, told Reuters.
Silo said that the SDF believes the US has a “strategic interest” in staying in the country.
“They have a strategy policy for decades to come. There will be military, economic and political agreements in the long term between the leadership of the northern areas (of Syria) … and the U.S. administration,” Reuters quoted Silo as saying.
Spokesman for the US-led coalition Col. Ryan Dillon added that there was “still a lot of fighting to do, even after ISIS has been defeated in Raqqa”.
“Our mission … is to defeat ISIS in designated areas of Iraq and Syria and to set conditions for follow-on operations to increase regional stability,” Dillon said according to Reuters.
Reuters also quoted Eric Pahon, a Pentagon spokesman, that said
“The Department of Defense does not discuss timelines for future operations. However we remain committed to the destruction of ISIS and preventing its return.”
In other words, it becomes clear that the SDF hopes to use the US support to esbatblish at least a semi-independent state in northern Syria and the US fuels this hope.
dumb statements from typical zio lapdogs … yankees are pure fakers and liars
the hope dies last. but yanks go home even later.
such a russian expression :D
really? i did not know :)
None Starter. You see The so called coalition of the U.S is like an itch you know scratching would make it worse. So for the time being, SAA Will continue securing the remaining parts of Syria until such time they see fit to address the itch with the proverbial medicine..that is the combination of Syria, Turkey, Iraq,Iran… Oh don’t forget the other big players, Russia and China. Syria’s territorial integrity won’t be complete until all land, air and sea are back under it’s control..
Very well said. Two years ago Surya (as a sovereign secular state) was almost gone. Now Surya is in much better situation but still fighting on many fronts fueled by Israel/US. I agree that Assad should make sure that other parts of Surya are stable and than Kurds will start to learn what is the price for land grabbing.
First, I would not count Turkey in. Turkey is part of the plot of the massive ethnic cleansing campaign of the native Syrian civilians of Northern Syria, Iraq and Deir Ezzur and their transfer to Europe as refugees, with Turkey on its part transferring its Kurdish populations and other families of Kurdish origin from Europe and the US to Northern Syria to take the native Syrians’ place. Second, if Russia, Syria and its allies do not make a stand now to save Syria’s statehood and its natural reources at all cost, Syria as a state is finished and Russia is doomed.
Exactly. Don’ t trust the Turks and get the door closed for US imperialism through their proxies and boot grounds, here the so-called SDF:.
Sure Turkey is indeed an opportunistic entity that cannot be trusted. However it is also a country that cannot be ignored in this crisis. It holds a considerable leverage as to the final outcome, but its also in a precarious position where it has to choose between being a Nato vassal or independent state. This is where Russia can exert pressure on Turkey to agree to an amicable settlement and restored relations with Syria. How Russia achieves this, is yet not quite clear to me IMHO and remains to be seen. I suspect that once ISIS is vanquished, the first demands from Syria, Turkey,Iran and to an extent Iraq, will demand U.S vacate Syria and this is where turkey Holds the key against the U.S up to a certain point. How that plays out remains to be seen.
Whatever the USA thinks or wishes, the lawful government of Syria has every right to attack rebels, such as the SDF, threatening its security. This is particularly so if, like the jihadis in Idlib, they are in cahoots with ISIS.
F..k the Kurdish traitors. Once I supported their cause, now I see they are just tools for US imperialist policies.
Exactly my thoughts. As I have previously mentioned, their cause for a kurdish nation is not totally unjustified, and it has been going on for centuries. They are indigenous to the area, unlike Israelis. But it seems like they became US pets, and this is a decision they are going to pay for in blood in the long run. Another civil war is brewing at the moment. That idiot, Barzani, will drag his people to their demise. Once again, foreign blood will be spilt for the West’s interests.
Not indigenous at all.certainly not in syria and even in south east turkey been there only a few centuries at most. Christians and moslem arabs were there way before kurds rocked up!
Absolutely right, me too! So those invaders coming into europe now, what if they want to have their own country in germany or france or greece/italy? What do we do then? They bring in a big power like us or maybe turkey to push its weight around and force a partition on us like they did to yugo and serbs! Syrian kurds have outstayed their welcome in poor syria who humanely took them in even one hundred years ago.
Fcuck off!
Of course they do.
Are you in this picture: https://chemtrailsplanet.files.wordpress.com/2015/11/stop-isis-usa-israeli-terrorists.jpg?w=350&h=200&crop=1
No, dutchy is sitting in front of them and praying their orders.
Exactly https://xaameriki.files.wordpress.com/2014/09/wpid-israel-likeisis__article.jpg
Nice photoshop.
A for effort.
It’s called truth, something that lying ziotrolls like you hate. Because it exposes all of the Jew lies, crime and evil for what it is.
Totally in agreement.
““Our mission … is to defeat ISIS in designated areas of Iraq and Syria and to set conditions for follow-on operations to increase regional stability,” Dillon said according to Reuters.”
This is Jew world order double speak for “We’re going to set up Israel II in North Syria and use it for decades to come to perpetuate regional war, terrorism and instability to serve Zionist interests.” Which is why there needs to be Syrian government entry into the Kurdish controlled areas, using force and arresting people on an as needed basis, to extinguish partition and reassert Syrian government control in these areas.
Of course they want the US to stay indefinitely. The moment the last US soldier leaves the Turks will cross that border faster then I can type this. And then they would have to grovel to Assad and the Russians.
Not only are they traitors and absolute enemies of Syria, but they are also traitors to humanity as a whole. Serving the force that is destroying life on the planet.
Exactly, and they are too stupid to understand that.
Since when were the “SDF” immune from attack by the Syrian army? America has supported FSA, al-Nusra and various other jihadis: why are the SDF any different?
the Sadistic Destructive Fiends are beating their chest about a non starter situation! Turkey has effectively closed their border to KURD$ and terrorists movements into Turkey? Iran has closed their air space to any non Iranian military planes??? So, it is just empty posturing from the SDF?hehehe
Well the mask have fallen off. The Turds have shown their true traitorous faces.
In other words, the kurds will eventually get rolled over by israeli colonists. And this area will be built up to attack Iran.
From his proclamation it would appear that the ancestral/national homeland of that “Kurd” (one uses the word broadly) was the land and environs in and around Langley VA. Perhaps, he should return there.

Time to level Langley.
The us wants to seize the oil to help offset the cost of perpetual deployment in Syria to maintain the Kurdish fiction.
These Kurds won’t benefit from the oil, they won’t benefit in any way from this entire American project to partition Syria. They are simply mercenaries with no ability nor inclination for civil service that a government requires. A civil uprest is inevitable and the Americans will need to increase their presence to 30,000 soldiers to keep their grip on this land.
As proven by Barzani.once he got in power in that part of iraq he became turkeys man!oil money greases many iraqo kurds hands!
Oh , you didn’t hear , there are 200,000 Israeli ‘s “of Kurdish decent” , all prepared to move in , after the new proposed nation is declared .
in kurd brain, they are choose to be usa zionist colonist instead of under iraq or syria.
in other word, they are choose to be usa zionis’s slave than become freedom man in iraq or syria.
its disgrace kurd..
Haha! If you asked them what they feel about being Zionists’ pawns, they answer “We are using them to achieve our goal”. Poor souls. They think they’re very smart and it’s they that uses the Zios, not the other way around.
The illusion of independence remains as long as they follow every single order barked at them.
It is only a person with deranged mind that thinks US will ever leave Syria. If Syria wants to fight the Aggressor, they better start fighting now. Waiting for sometime in the future will only make it impossible.
Russia to a larger extent bears the blame for this type of America’s behaviour. If they had been aggressive enough from the very beginning to counter US in all forms of their aggressiveness in Syria for example, these type of things wouldn’t be happening. What we see is US constantly probing sniffing their nose and when they do not encounter strong reaction from it’s adversary, they move on and increase the tempo and then more and more and more. Just few weeks ago they were talking about leaving Syria after ISIS is defeated. Now, what.
You are right ro some degree. Russia does not have as many resources as zioyankistan.this does not mean it can not win a war with zionato.it just means it must use thise resources ay the best time for the best effect.ie life ie death struggle .
Usa could lose war and walk away to rebuild.russia would take maybe a generation at least.so i am hoping russia has a plan and that is why it does not slap down the aggressor everytime his rapacious dead hand reaches out on an innocent nation.
We became too used to this.first yugo against fellow christians, then afghan then iraq then libya etc.and remember afghan taliban and saddam were us pals as long as they did what they were told. I saw the photos that prove it!
Hey Kurdy boys – it isn’t happening because you will all be dead soon.
Kurds hope to have USA-Israel support for thousand of years. They probably have promised USA-ISrael to be very good puppets.
