SDF Occupied Another Government Building In Al-Hasakah City

Support SouthFront

On August 5, fighters of the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) stormed the Grain Silos Management building in the city of al-Hasakah.

According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), SDF fighters occupied the second floor of the building after forcing 120 workers and employees to leave.

The SANA’s reporter said a purchase center was recently established in the silos. Loads of wheat were bought directly from farmers in northeastern Syria. The wheat was stored in the silos in order to supply bakeries in the region.

“The amount of wheat stored in the silo is estimated at 13 thousand tons,” the reporter said.

Last June, SDF forces occupied a number of government buildings and state-owned properties in al-Hasakah city. The step was reportedly ordered by the U.S.-led coalition. One of the buildings was handed back later. In July, however, the group occupied a communication center in the northern al-Hasakah countryside.

The SDF is likely attempting to regain its influence in al-Hasakah by challenging the Damascus government. The U.S.-led coalition is also working to expand its military presence in the governorate’s city center.

it’s of paramount interest to turkey and syria and iraq to bury the hatchet and deal decisively with the kurds. the yankee-twats can’t keep them afloat and thus the theft of syria’s oil to finance sdf is a must. stop the illegal sale of oil, bring the seller/sdf to court for selling something they don’t own. london high court could be a venue and there is no way sdf can prove a legitimate title to the stuff. otherwise they can prevent the tankers leaving syria and stop the sdf-operation.

It could be a good solution You all became Osmans again. It was wrong making countries for You in Balfiur 2 and Lausanne.

I predict the sun tomorrow will go down in a swimming west too.

You can call me Al

Blow the fuckers up with the SDF in it.

Potato Man

SAA just wait and take it, why blow it up. Sooner or later Syrian government going to take back the whole country. I remember people talking about Syria being ruled by Wahhabi Sunnis years ago and look it now.

Jens Holm

According to You SDFs coverted yesterday or hours ago. ´

And the new name for SDFs will be Allabama ?

Potato Man

The fuk are you on about bud? You know what nvm you lost your shi^ and talk like a goy.

Jens Holm

Putting in Wahhabi sunnis makes no sense. Thatsa what I commented. Maybee You meant Wasabi??

Potato Man

Daesh, ISIS, Al-Qaeda etc etc are all follow Wahhabism (Wahhabi Sunnis). I wasn’t talking about Kurds taking over Syria buddy. What do you mean putting in Wahhabi Sunnis makes no sense? Al-Qaeda stronghold was in Syria.

Brun moment I think you misunderstood me. Again nvm talking to you is like talking to a 13-15 years old kid who just say the same shi& again and again.

Potato Man

“porn studio where they just fuck each other in the ass.” ahhh good point is that why women have to fight as well, I see.

Jens Holm

Yes, its a try for regaining.

This is very much about Assads and Turks using the starvation weapons and this initiative is against it.

I hope the Hasaka Assads wont be used as starvation hostages as well ir the Assads did.

We are in the old old days. Turks bomberded all private bakeries, where they arrived and made big few ones, they control.

Booth Assads and Turks systematicly has set fire into fields with food. AS I recall it ISIS maybee has done it too.

Jens Holm

Yes, the real meat is already sold.

Willing Conscience (The Truths

Sounds more like revenge, ‘what we let you have most of the grain silos back and now you’ve taken over our communications centre as well, we’re taking back out grain silos now’, ahh some things never change. Yes I know the silos and the comms centre aren’t really the US’s property they’re actually Syrian property, but the US has really big guns and that means they own them now, I don’t like it one little bit but that’s the reality.

ian

The Kurds are imho being foolish in Syria. They have traded short term gains for long term troubles. After the way they have behaved I do not see much love coming their way from Syrian citizens.

Goran Grubić HardyVeles

Really, these guys are changing sides every second month. Moral issues aside, can’t they see how it worked for them so far? Their power declines constantly.
