The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have launched a counter-offensive against Turkish-backed militants south of the border town of Ras al-Ayn in northern al-Hasakah.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) confirmed early on October 31 that the Kurdish-led group managed to recapture the villages of Abu Rasin, al-Manakh, al-Sibatiyah, Rajlah al-Hamrah, and al-Qasimiyah.
Militants of the so-called Syrian National Army (SNA) captured these five villages and few others on October 30 with direct support from the Turkish military.
The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and the SDF clashed with the militants. However, they initially failed to halt the militants’’ advance. As a result, several army units opted to withdraw from the area.

The SNA attack was a major violation of Turkey’s agreement with Russia and the U.S. This violation was not the first by Turkish-backed militants and won’t likely be the last.

It is. But I aree and has written it many times.
There is a limit of seize for old Emirate Dictator structures and in their one string structures dont see the corners as weell as being able to change things(hopefully to the better).
In too many things I only see many smaller Ottomans.
So I also see several of those socalled countries having a modern advanced structure in the center or partions, where locals knows things and therefore can make the needed changes.
It very strange to me so many trust and in the same time fear and accept conditions like that.
Iraq, Lebanon and Syria are chaos only to me. People there are raised to be enemies to each other as well as neighbour countries. We see even the lowest arabs and Turks thinking they are above anybody else. As long as that continue, I am against any help to there.
Why should west spend time, mopney and even lives for anything like that. So I support hardly none there part from the non fighting internal and external refugees.
Asads and Erdogans say they have succesm but font care for real for the non fightings, which somehow are the normal human beings in that region.
