SDF Released Photos of ISIS Column Heading from Manbij

Support SouthFront

The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces Press Center has released a series of photos that show a column of over 100 ISIS vehicles retreating from the city of Manbij in Syria’s province of Aleppo on August 12. The column, consisting of ISIS fighters and some civilians, was given a free passage from the city by the US-backed forces.

The Us-led coalition forces spent almost three months conducting air strikes and storming this city before the full liberation of it last week. However, then, Pentagon confirmed that the liberation of Manbij was a result of the deal between the US-backed forces and the ISIS terrorist group.

why Russia doesnt bomb the shit out of them?

MeMadMax

Civilian shields.

Kim Jong

Maybe. But our american friends wasnt interested even on civilian casulties 25 years ago when they bombed withdrawing Iraqis at the “Highway of Death”.

radovan

… and the Serbs in 1999!

MeMadMax

There were actually several “highway of death”s in Iraq. The most famous of which, and also the one that you are most likely referring too, was the retreat of the 1st armored division of the Iraqi republican guard. It was purely military… no civilians were involved. The idea of using civilian shields is not a idea that the shia’s conform to.

More … refugees? Merkel must rubbing her hands together!

“Germany this way→”

tim

It looks like way… more than 100 vehicles.

Julius Alfred Anderson

This is a considerable force. I think they don’t make deals with Terrorists? Hypocrites

Dagwood Bumstead

Yes, and propaganda value – They’ll say they defeated Daesh and that they ran or something similar. Supposedly done to save civilian casualties – I’m not sure I believe that though.
