The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) has repelled a major ISIS counter-offensive, killing 140 terrorists, pro-Kurdish sources report.
According to reports, ISIS launched advances from the directinos of Jarabulus, al-Bab and Maskaneh in order to break the SDF siege of Manbij. However, all ISIS offensives were repelled by SDF forces.
Reports say 142 ISIS members have been killed in clashes.
We remember, on June 21, ISIS attacked the SDF near Arimeh, Owseh Jeli, Towq al-Khalil, Mohtareq al-Kabireh, Qor’at al-Kabireh and al-Saghireh, attempting to open a way towards Manbij and deliver supplies to the terrorists inside the city, but the SDF was able to hold ISIS militants in the pocket.
