An official media wing of the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have accused the Syrian Air Force of striking a target near SDF positions in some area “south of al-Tabqa”.
The media wing released a statement “that at 9 pm on Friday 22/9-2017 Syrian aircraft bombed areas close to the presence of our forces in the south of AL-Tabaqa and no casualties among the ranks of the fighter.“
However, it is not clear why the Syrian Arab Air force should strike some target south of al-Tabqah city while the main clashes are now taking place near the town of Maadan northwest of Deir Ezzor city and near Khsham village and Saqr Island east of Deir Ezzor city.
The statement followed reports that the SDF attacked Syrian government troops crossing the Euphrates River near Deir Ezzor. 9 Syrian soldiers were allegedly killed as a result of the incident. However, no official confirmation has appeared so far and pro-SDF sources have rejected these claims.
In any case, the SDF runs a large-scale media campaign, backed by the mainstream media, in order to blame Syrian government forces for their will to clear the eastern bank of the Euphrates from ISIS and to justify own will to seize oil fields located in the area.
Anyway it is high time to send the PKK back to Turkey where the Turks will give them a nice welcome.

Well it may be an indication (SDF obviously having shown its hand with the release of water from the dam to impede SSA from crossing (sabotaging national sovereign interest)) along with the national interest in its infrastructure and the part that life sustaining water is as important as oil for the population the dam must be returned to Syrian control.
I think the Russian coalition is up to that task and to restate that the mission in Syria contains Russian interest of heading off jihadist proxies from the Caucasus’s on the southern border of the Russian Federation. The Syrian operation is just as important as the Chechen war and lessons learned.

If the report is correct, one can only hope the US will stand by its word to arm the YPG as necessary.

The American people are very tired of this endless war. And I think President Trump is too. And his opposition to these endless wars is what got him elected, in part.
The problem is that the American people are not aware of this low intensity conflict.
There needs to be a major incident to happen in Syria to make Americans aware that Russia and the Syrian people are willing to escalate this conflict, to fight endlessly to protect their country’s assets.
There needs to be an ultimatum from Russia and it’s Syrian coalition to the Kurds to withdraw from the Syrian oil fields immediately or face attack. This will make the headlines. The ultimatum then needs to be backed up with action. Yes there will be blood spilled. But, if not now , when ?
This will begin the debate within the US. Do Americans really want endless war and direct confrontation with a Super power, so that the Kurds can keep their stolen oil ? The answer will be no.

ISIS today conducted a successful attack via ambush against SDF on Deir Ezzor – Suwar highway – 19 killed. It looks as if the money the Americans promised them is not coming faster enough to their liking.
This is funny how they just released the video of the shooting down of the Syrian Jet but when they released another about prowess of US air force bombing in Syria two thirds of it was the US bombing Syrian positions. That video was pulled from their site fairly quickly when people caught this out, and it received a major edit job removing any evidence of their actions, and their support of it the illegal actions.
I’ve looked carefully at that video and I’m not convinced they actually shot down a SU-22. Of course, there is footage of a SU-22 flying, but that means nothing.
What I think about it I’d keep for myself, but don’t forget that at about the same time or a little later, there were the announcements of two A-10 and one undisclosed US aircraft lost at Nellis, with one pilot lost as well.
Also, the attacking fighters weren’t USAF as you state, but US Navy.
Call them all US air force even though they were navy pilots. Have to agree there are things not adding up, the 2 pilots crashed, the report was given in Sept.

I have an idea or two about the episode, in these cases you have to connect the dots a bit.
The problem with the A-10c those have been crashing for decades, but that’s what it is. Seems low in hearing is the reported deaths of special forces from any country as they are listed as a paratrooper or soldier who died in operations in Iraq-Syria. There are others who die in mysterious roll overs etc., too many questions left when you here about their training.
Time to deploy Erdogan gangs in SDF areas to observe devil against demons fight.
