Layalwa al-Abdullah, a spokesman for the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Deir Ezzor Military Council, have survived an assassination attempt.
The spokesman vehicle was reportedly targeted by gunmen as it was passing on al-Kharafi road in eastern Deir Ezzor in the late hours of September 25. Al-Abdullah survived the attack. However, her driver was injured.

The Popular Resistance in the Eastern Region (PR-EG), an armed group affiliated with the Syrian intelligence, claimed responsibility for the assassination attempt.
In an official statement, the group vowed to killed al-Abdullah “tomorrow, or the day after,” even if she abandons the ranks of the SDF.
This was reportedly the fifth attempt on al-Abdullah’s life. The most recent attempt took palace in Deir Ezzor two weeks ago. Back then, the SDF said its spokesman had a car accident. However, the PR-EG also claimed responsibility.
In the last few months, tension between Arab locals in Deir Ezzor and the SDF grew like never before. The Kurdish-led group was accused or orchestrating attacks on tribal leaders. This has apparently encouraged the PR-EG and tribal fighters to act.

Syrian Army’s Idlib offensive is back on after failed talks between Russia, Turkey
Last week, Russian and Turkish military delegations met to discuss
the ongoing situation inside the Idlib Governoarate; however, despite a
desire for a solution there, both sides were unable to reach any sort of
agreement.
According to a military source in Damascus, the failure to reach a
consensus on the situation in Idlib has led the Syrian Arab Army’s high
command to once again resume plans for a large-scale offensive inside
this governorate in northwestern Syria
The source said the Syrian Arab Army’s high command is planning to
launch this offensive at the start of the new year, which is similar to
their operation that was launched in January 2020.
This offensive will target the remaining areas under militant control
in Jabal Al-Zawiya and the Al-Ghaab Plain, with a special concentration
on the key town of Ariha, which is located along the strategic M-4
Highway (Latakia-Aleppo Highway).
The Syrian Arab Army previously halted their offensive in March 2020
after a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish
counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Moscow.
The Putin-Erdogan meeting also led to the establishment of joint
patrols between the Turkish and Russian forces along the M-4 Highway;
however, they have since been suspended due to security reasons.
As the year approaches its end, the Syrian Army will likely intensify
their attacks in southern Idlib, while gradually increasing the size of
their forces near the front-line
I dont think these guys are pro-government at all. Sounds to me like US psy ops to fish for more casus belli. I remember they claimed responsibility for firing “mortars” at US troops before, just the day before they renounced on leaving syria.
I agree about your view on the US ziofucks but still I say, unless you have more evidence, be wary of this so called pro-syria group. They are fishy as hell, given the circumstances. I dont trust them one bit, but I could be convinced. They really sound like fabricated “hostiles” paid for by the US to give themselves a reason to keep funelling armor around the oil fields.
A real Pro-Syria resistance group would go all out on the IED and convoy raids to bring misery and death to the imperialists. These guys are just cosmetic.
