Abu Abdul Mohsen al-Jazrawi, a senior Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) commander, was assassinated in southeastern Idlib on September 10.
According to opposition activists, gunmen armed with silenced guns stormed the commander’s headquarters in the town of Saraqib. After gunning down his bodyguard, Abu Sufian, the gunmen killed al-Jazrawi with an execution-style shot.
Besides being an HTS commander, Al-Jazrawi, a Saudi citizen, was reportedly a close aide of the terrorist group leader Abu Mohammad al-Julani.
Citing sources in HTS, the Zaman al-Wasl news outlet reported that the assassination was carried out by a cell of ISIS. According to the outlet, at least one of the assailants has been identified.
In the last few months, several foreign terrorists were assassinated in Greater Idlib. The perpetrators of most of these assassinations, remain unknown.
Good riddance! Enjoy your ’72’ whores!
no, they issued a fatwa; young goats are ok (also used but got to be young – Islam thing)
remember what I’ve said: Saudia will be the next US military target
I say The Lebanon, but I hope and pray it is Saudi and then the UAE…..all after Israel of course.
there is a good probability Lieberman will win the Israeli elections… if so, another war will be certain. But even the promise of Bibi to annect new territories, I think will be hard to swallow by the muslims
More likely HTS is taking out its own traitors.
Maybe. But if this was just housecleaning why would HTS publicly blame ISUS? Or bother with silenced guns?
Keep the traitors guessing, they don’t want to tip their hand, many reasons.
Another one bites the dust. Good.
now that the squeeze is in on Idlib, they are all turning on each other….
which all along was one of the syrian-russian allied strategies. dump them all in Idlib and let them thrash it out, then attack and slowly re-occupy that province with government forces
cleaning house,,,
Who here thinks it might be the Kurds?
Ah – another ‘Syrian rebel’ – from Saudi Arabia!
