The time of Damascus threats against the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) has gone, Redur Khalil, a senior commander in the US-backed group told Kurdistan 24 on March 27.
“The time of threats has gone, no one can force us in any matter through military threats,” Khalil said.
The SDF commander also stressed that dialoged is the best way to solve the problems between the Damascus government and the Kurdish-dominated self-administration in northeastern Syria.
“A political solution and dialogue have been our option since the beginning,” Khalil added.
Kurdistan 24 said that Khalil’s remarks were another response to Syria’s Defense Minister, Ali Abdullah Ayoub, who had warned the SDF that the Damascus government is willing to recapture northeastern Syria by force, if necessary.
Last week, the SDF released an official respond to Ayoub’s threat, in which the group vowed to defend its territory and accused the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) of adopting a “sterile racist policy.”
The tension between the SDF and the Damascus government started growing once again following the U.S. decision to keep at least 400 service members in Syria despite the announced withdrawal of troops. The decision has encouraged the US-backed group to adopt a more aggressive policy.
The US backed terrorists operate in every country in the world including Palestine, Russia and India I mean Zionist Israel.

It’s funny how they choose to ignore the first part of Ayoub’s statement, the part about peaceful negotiation and cry about the last part, retaking by force if necessary. Perhaps they know the only solution is by using force, because they’re not willing to negotiate and also the US won’t allow them. And let’s not even talk about the “racism” accusation. We can ask anybody who is currently living in the parts under their illegal control and is not an obedient Kurd.

I think it should be for another time and maybe another US President. What they should do is go after the Kurds only. Erdogan is not thinking here and maybe playing both sides.
