Local sources reported the attacks as the following:

  • Late on December 22, two officers of the MID and the General Intelligence Directorate were shot and killed, along with a local civilian, by unknown gunmen in the town of al-Ajraf in the countryside of al-Quneitra.

The nature of the targets and the tactics used by the assailants suggest that the attacks were all carried out by the same perpetrators.

ISIS cells are known to be active in the areas, where the attacks took place. Nevertheless, the terrorist group usually claims responsibility through its news agency Amaq.

These attacks highlight the state of lawlessness prevailing over southern Syria. The region has been slowly spinning out of control. The lack of coordination between government forces and local fighters is one of the main causes behind this chaos.

As written before teh maps are wrong. Assads has many enemies and kind of enemies there. They only has militaty control, when they are there and cant be all over.

So where is the civile control and safety? Hard to see this is Assad land only.

Its tempting to overestimate the things going on there. In the other hand the map and writings about it are mixies of many conflicts for many reasons. So I agree with the article too. Its much as there is no law there and more loke anarchy.

I allow me to add, that those uprisers also are motivated by having no hope and that sometimes makes a lot of crime as well as revenge.

Syria is not Country. The only way of fresh air is Assads and the Baathists should not be running so much any more. Well, do they?

I dont think so. We see Hesbollah, Iran and Russia has taken over mpre and more because Assads has less and less support as well as ressources.

The last change seemes to be Russians now again has some people in DEZ and East. Whats the purpose.

Its a farce in fiaco for the russians and others too. No solutions are made by guns.

Willing Conscience (The Truths

LOL, I’ll have to translate this story because not many SF readers will understand what they were just told, I’ll summarize it simply for everyone to understand, most won’t believe what I say but I’ll tell them anyway, this is my summary of this article,

At least 7 of the 9 people killed belonged to pro Iranian sections of the Syrian army and Intelligence agencies,

These are the pro Iranian sections of the Syrian army and Intelligence agencies, Air Force Intelligence, Syrian Military Intelligence, Syrian General Intelligence, SAA 4th division, Whenever you see people assassinated in any of these agencies they’re USUALLY [not always] affiliated to Iran in some way or another.

And this is a simple one to remember, if they belong to the 5th army corps they’re ALWAYS pro Russian and anti Iran, ALWAYS.

And in Quneitra, Darra, and As Suwayda, most of the locals are strongly pro Russian and totally anti Iran, but they’re are a few groups that do have strong anti Russian sentiments [few and far between]. And about half the civilians have pro Government sentiments and the other half some level of anti Assad sentiment, so they’re a very mixed bunch and it’s hard to work out who killed them and why.

And lastly whenever you see a Government official killed in these areas, it usually means they were either independent, pro Russian, anti Iranian, or even pro Syrian Government, but very rarely [I don’t think ever] pro Iranian, it’s usually not too hard to find out from opposition news sources what they’re leanings are, no info on this one yet though.

So from what I just read I’d say the Russians are winning this particular bout for influence in the south of Syria, 7 definite points to Russia and 2 unknown points yet to be distributed, maybe they’ll go to Russia and maybe they’ll go to Iran, but even if Iran gets the other 2 points it’s still a score of 7 to 2, but it could actually be 9 to 0, so lets see what it really is when more info is released. :]

Where Turkey and Erdogan are concerned I always say f–k Russia and ignore them, when it comes to Iran though I say, go Russia go.

You think that Syria has it bad? Terrorist Attack in Jerusalem

[ Body count, 2 injured, the attacker later died “a 17-year-old Palestinian from Qabatiya in the northern West Bank, was armed with a Carlo-type submachine gun”

The reason I bring this up is because someone always blames Iran. A Carlo submachine gun is built in Palestinian basement from cannibalized parts of other guns and fixtures. It frequently jams, it’s a cheap peace of garbage, not that I’d want someone to point one at me. There were up to 3 terrorist related deaths in Israel, one by knife and two by blunt force trauma to the head.

Now my point, the attacks in Israel are NOT state sponsored by Iran or anyone else but why does ISIS have such good weapons in Syria? ISIS is getting weapons from one or more states and it aint Iran.
