Several ISIS terrorists have escaped from the notorious al-Hawl camp in the eastern al-Hasakah countryside, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported on May 17.
According to the London-based monitoring group, seven ‘former’ members of ISIS escaped from the camp in the early morning hours. The camp is controlled by the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
“Escapes are happening with the help of corrupt guards in the camp, in exchange for cash,” the SOHR said in its report citing sources familiar with the situation in the camp.
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) confirmed the incident. According to the state-run agency, security forces in the camp were placed on a high-alert after the incident.
A search operation for the escapees is now ongoing. A military source in the SDF told the Hawar News Agency (ANHA) that four of the escapees have been captured, so far.
The al-Hawl camp is hosting 67,000 people, including 40,000 family members of ISIS fighters. An entire section of the camp is dedicated for foreign wives of ISIS terrorists.
Earlier this week, three Turkish ISIS wives were arrested for planning to set on fire the camp to escape. Such crimes are very common in the camp, which has become infamous as the “mini-Islamic State.”
More than likely the US liberated its proxies to sow further mayhem in Syria.
Now Russia and Syria should know how the US Zioterrorist filth is manning ISIS cells carrying out attacks on SAA forces in the Syrian Desert region.
