At least 6 (according to some sources, 8) people were injured in an explosion of the French city of Lyon on May 24. The French Interior Ministry stressed that the blast occurred at around 17:40 local time.

The reason of the explosion remains unclear.
The Interior Ministry announced that authorities are investigating the incident.
