Late on October 15, a new rocket attack targeted the U.S.-led coalition Green Village base in the northeastern Syrian governorate of Deir Ezzor, according to different Syrian news sources.
The base, which is located within al-Omar oil fields in the southeastern Deir Ezzor countryside, was reportedly hit by several rockets. Columns of dark smoke were seen rising from the base after the attack. However, no casualties or material losses were reported.
The U.S.-led coalition has not commented on the alleged attack, yet. Usually, the coalition confirms attacks on its bases in Syria within 24 hours.
If confirmed, this would be the third attack to target a U.S. base in Syria’s northeastern region in less than a month. On September 18, a number of rockets targeted the coalition’s Green Village base. Later on October 8, a rocket attack targeted the coalition’s Rumalyn Landing Zone, which is located near Rumalyn oil fields in the northern al-Hasakah countryside.
Both previous attacks were unofficially blamed on Iranian-backed forces in Syria and Iraq. However, the U.S.-led coalition declined to respond.
The U.S.-led coalition maintains hundreds of troops in northeastern Syria. Most of them are currently deployed at bases located within or near lucrative oil and gas fields.
A new attack on the Green Village base could provoke a series of U.S. strikes on Iranian-backed forces, especially if it caused any casualties or serious material losses. This will likely lead to a new limited confrontation between the two sides in Deir Ezzor.

Just like Jews. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME “no casualties or material losses were reported.” USELESS! Do it better!
USA invading Syria for years and also stealing their resources, they should punish and sanction themselves…..
France also steals oil from Yemen, the other country that NATO is helping to destroy. The rest of the world should start to ignore Europe and North America, they won’t do much without the resources from the countries they look down and they think they’re superior than them, although, in such case, NATO will probably start to wage wars against the rest of the world.
