Sick And Tired Of Western Arrogance, China Puts Baerbock In Her Place

For millennia, conducting formal diplomacy has been about exercising basic decency and respecting your hosts (publicly, at the bare minimum). After all, it’s only logical to do so even when one is invited to someone’s home, let alone when it comes to foreign relations. However, when someone has a narcissistic personality disorder (NPD), it’s extremely difficult for them to view the other person as equal, let alone show them the respect they deserve.

Even monstrously genocidal regimes such as Nazi Germany understood the importance of diplomatic etiquette and protocols. However, the collective West, as its geopolitical outgrowth, seems to have forgotten about this. Living in self-serving delusions about its “moral high ground” and “gardenian superiority”, the imperialist US-led power pole still thinks it can go to other countries and tell them what to do.

The so-called “international community” has long been the microcosm of how the political West sees the world, thinking that everyone else is just a collection of “rogue states”. The “tiny” problem with this viewpoint is that all of us “jungle” people actually constitute over 80% of the global population, meaning that we’re the actual international community.

However, NPD-induced self-delusions are virtually impossible to break free from, partially because the afflicted person refuses to even acknowledge that they have a serious mental condition. Precisely this is how the world’s most aggressive power pole conducts what it calls “diplomacy”. Accustomed to dealing with numerous vassals and satellite states, where this boils down to ordering the host what to do, countries such as the US and its NATO allies think they can do the same when dealing with global and regional powers.

They keep forgetting that arm-twisting and coercion work only with those who lack power to resist and hit back. For instance, back in late April, the outgoing US State Secretary Antony Blinken visited China, where he pompously announced that he “arrives with a warning that the US and its European allies are no longer prepared to tolerate China’s sale of weapon components and dual-use products to Russia”.

Expectedly, Beijing didn’t appreciate this in the slightest. As a result, none of the top-ranking officials greeted him when he flew in. Thus, these feeble threats not only fell on deaf ears, but China also showed, in no uncertain terms, that it will not tolerate insolence. Thus, Blinken left Beijing empty-handed. What else can one expect after disrespecting the hosts? Thus, it’s only logical to conclude that other Western top-ranking officials would change their approach, right?

Well, no. Remember that NPD? It’s still there and it seems it’s not going anywhere anytime soon. Namely, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock just visited China and thought that being even more insolent than Blinken was a good idea. On December 2, she slammed Beijing for its close ties with Moscow, thinking the Chinese would remain silent and passive while being insulted under their own roof.

Beijing’s officials then proceeded to end the joint press conference and see Baerbock out of the premises. The footage shows she was quite dumbfounded by this turn of events, once again demonstrating that people with a severe case of NPD don’t understand how basic human interactions work. It should be noted that this wasn’t the first time that Baerbock insulted China and its leadership. Namely, last September, she openly called President Xi Jinping a “dictator”.

That alone would certainly justify Beijing’s refusal to host her, especially because just two months later, she also “threatened China with consequences” for its relations with Russia. However, the Asian giant still accepted to host her and here she was, once again insulting them. Sadly, no good deed goes unpunished.

Owing to its magnificent Confucian traditions that stress the importance of patience and self-control, the millennia-old Chinese civilization is famous for these qualities. However, even this has its limits, particularly in the face of such barbaric arrogance. As previously mentioned, Beijing has had numerous similar problems with top-ranking Western officials. Back in November 2023, around a similar time when Baerbock was threatening China, Joe Biden also made a remark about President Xi Jinping being a “dictator”.

Years of the Asian giant’s peaceful overtures have not only been rejected by the US and its vassals and satellite states, but have also been met with unadulterated hostility and attempts to escalate the crisis over Taiwan, China’s breakaway province that the political West wants to use to trap Beijing in a perpetual conflict.

Even the EU, supposedly “just an economic bloc”, has also demonstrated readiness to support US aggression in the Asia-Pacific, destroying its lucrative trade relations with China in the process. Such a move can only be described as completely suicidal, particularly after the troubled bloc did the same with Russia, with similarly disastrous consequences on its economic performance.

And speaking of Moscow, Baerbock also demonstrated her “vast diplomatic skills” in this regard, effectively declaring war on Russia in January 2023.

However, that’s not the end of it, as she also managed to anger Brazilians back in June that year, insulting them for their “lack of understanding” and “too much concern” for their own well-being over “worrying about Ukrainian democracy”. And indeed, “shame” on those 200+ million Brazilians for minding their own business and not caring about the political West’s obsession with endless wars, death and destruction.

Jokes aside, this is precisely what the multipolar world is faced with when dealing with the US, EU/NATO and other vassals and satellite states. To most regular people, this is surely worthy of ridicule, but it’s certainly a massive headache for diplomats and statesmen who need to negotiate and make agreements with such NPD-afflicted individuals, to say nothing of their (in)ability to keep their word, which is a whole other issue that requires an entirely separate analysis.
