The Libyan National Army (LNA) continues its strategic advance in southern and northern parts of the country. Over the past few days, LNA forces have secured the area of Qasr Abu Hadi south of the city of Sirte and deployed reinforcements in the town of Hun.Local sources speculate that this is a part of preparations for an advance on Sirte.
These reports caused a panic among armed groups, which had declared their formal support to the Western-backed Government of National Accord. The so-called Sirte Security and Protection Force even announced a state of emergency.
Good stuff! Things are proceeding much like in Syria.
