Gen. Hossein Mohebbi, spokesman for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), told the semi-official Tasnim news agency on July 25 that Iranian strikes have inflicted heavy losses on United States military bases and assets across the region over the past two weeks.
Mohebbi said the losses accumulated over 15 days, from July 6 to July 22, as a result of what he described as decisive and heavy attacks by Iran’s armed forces.
In the radar and air defense category, Mohebbi said Iranian forces destroyed seven command-and-control centers, three satellite communication systems and six Patriot missile defense radars — losses he said left the Patriot system so degraded that Iranian missiles and drones have since struck their targets without being intercepted.
He also listed three air-and-sea control and monitoring radars, eight early detection and warning radars, seven air missile defense radars, three EPS radars, two EPS-117 radars, five long-range radars, two additional defense radars and one tactical radar complex among the destroyed systems.
As for support and logistics facilities, which Mohebbi said were targeted specifically to reduce the U.S. military’s operational capabilities, he claimed six fighter jet and helicopter repair and maintenance centers, three support and logistics centers, 12 fuel tanks, 17 weapons and parts storage depots for ships and aircraft, and six missile depots were destroyed.
Under operational infrastructure, Mohebbi listed six MQ-9 drone hangars, one F-15 fighter preparation shed, one drone hangar containing eight brand-new drones, two command centers, one aircraft-carrier refueling platform, one P-8 aircraft hangar, four HIMARS multiple rocket launchers, five fighter hangars, four Patriot deployment sites, six missile launchers, one fuel-pumping station, two signal-communications centers, one intelligence data center, an artificial intelligence center he described as an Amazon data-processing base, one unmanned submarine depot center, one fuel dock, four fighter shelters and six takeoff-and-landing ramps as destroyed.
As for aerial losses, Mohebbi claimed, included 11 warplanes destroyed on the ground, along with 17 reconnaissance and operational drones — eight of them described as brand new — one F-15 fighter jet inside its shelter, one P-8 aircraft, one C-17 transport plane, eight refueling tankers, four heavy-lift helicopters and six reserve missiles.
The claims made by Mohebbi amount to one of the most extensive damage assessments Iran has issued since the conflict escalated.
The U.S. has not yet acknowledged any material losses. However, satellite images have already confirmed direct hits against facilities and equipment.
