On March 23, Slovakia transferred the first batch of MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine. The country promised a total of 13 planes to Kiev. The U.S. has already announced its readiness to supply Bratislava with attack helicopters and Hellfire missiles as a reward.
“The first four MiG-29 fighters were safely transferred to the AFU and have already left the territory of the Slovak Republic,” Slovak Defense Minister Jaroslav Nad wrote on Facebook.
According to the head of the Ministry of Defense, the rest of the aircraft should be sent to Ukraine “in the coming weeks.” On March 24, the Slovak Defense Ministry published a video of the transfer of the first four MiG-29s to Ukraine:
Bratislava agreed to provide Kiev with 13 aircraft last week.
In return, it will receive 12 Bell AH-1Z attack choppers, 500 AGM-114 Hellfire II missiles, and training from the US. The sale is worth about$1 billion, and under the offer, the US would provide $660 million in financing, and Slovakia would pay $340 million. from the United States.
Separately, the EU will compensate Slovakia with $213 million for providing Ukraine with the MiG-29s. Nad said the offer was still being considered but added acquiring the helicopters would “significantly increase the defense capability of Slovakia.”
Without its MiG-29s, Slovakia doesn’t have an air force, and Poland and the Czech Republic are now monitoring the land-locked country’s airspace. Slovakia signed a deal in 2018 to purchase 14 US-made F-16 fighter jets, but they aren’t expected to be delivered until 2024.
Earlier, Poland also promised to send its MiG-29s to Ukraine. President Andrzej Duda said that Warsaw would hand over four fighters to Kiev.
On March 23, North Macedonian official confirmed that four Su-25 fighters were handed over to Ukraine.
Commenting on the decision of NATO member states to supply fighter jets, the Kremlin called it “disposal of old, unnecessary equipment,” and also another example of how Western countries “are increasing their direct involvement in the conflict.”
Such decisions would not be possible without Washington being involved. The provision of fighter jets is viewed in Moscow as the alliance directly entering the war; but one year later, the escalation concerns waned and the Russian military is yet to take any retaliatory measures.

‘The russian military is yet to take any retaliatory measures’ what are they gonna do, fire missiles at nato countries?😂
The moment they strike at nato, within weeks if not days russia won’t have an air force and their army in ukraine will be bombed into oblivion.
Get back to your glory hole!!!! It’s the only glory you’ll ever have in life!!!
As Slovakian I have notice to the whole world.
Most of the Slovakian people disagree to provide our weapons to Ukraine, or any other country, thus fuel up military conflict. We are ashamed of our fashington puppet government and they act freely against the will of ( the most ) the nation. They don’t fear the people, probably because they have some “back door” plan in the case of “revolution” , in some protecting countries, like all betrayal politicians of the past had, who end up in UK or USA.
National support of our weapon delivery to Ukraine :
Absolutely disagree – 51,2 % Disagree – 19,3 % Agree – 14,7 % Absolutely agree – 7,3 % Don’t know – 7,5 %
Summary: disagreement of the Slovakian people with delivery of our weapons to Ukraine is 7:2 or, 3,2 disagreeing people to one agreeing …
… and mainstream media – of course – just “forget” to inform you ( both Slovak public and international public ), that there were Marches for Peace in many cities across the whole country , lasting with one “summary” march in capital Bratislava, where thousands of people showed their anti-war and anti-armament attitude.
Second round of marches in cities is going on, and again they will sum at main march in capital Bratislava in beginning of May !
There are live streams from them on jewtube !

Same here, in Romania …
PS … However, I have the feeling that Romania is the only one NATO european country that are not sending troops: / mercenaries or any other weaponry to fuckraine …Southfront faild to prove that up to this point …
PS
And this since Ukraine with its anti-aircraft system shot down a Mig 29 and a rescue helicopter killing all the crew on board … still not officially recognized by the official investigation teams … the official press, totally subordinated to the globalist elite, is covering up the case and have not come out with any official result …

The total failure of the states whose territory was once in the Austro-Hungarian Empire to follow a mutual beneficial path of policy with Russia demonstrates yet again why the Russians were right to fence them in after 1945.
Inak mali by!!!
should have been donated to Serbia along with the S-400 and T-72s
In the long run this does not help the uke military situation. It will ensure there will be more dead uke pilots prior to a peace agreement as a result of a prolonged conflict. In the long run only a very weak ukraine will be left on Russia’s border.
Good luck getting spare parts for them and that’s if they even last long enough before shot down,!
