In the Kupyansk sector, the situation is gradually stabilizing, though there is still heavy fighting in the city center. Russian units have repelled a series of attacks and consolidated their positions in the Moskovka residential development, thwarting the Ukrainian command’s plans to use it as a bridgehead. In the Kharkiv sector, Russian assault groups advanced in the Staritsa area. They captured a section of forest and captured two strong points southwest of Liman. They also advanced in Vovchanski Khutora and repelled an attempt by two Ukrainian assault groups to advance. In the Konstantynivka sector, fighting continues for control of the city itself, including the areas around the railway station and hospital. Fighting also continues for control of the T-junction of the roads and Stepanivka. Northwest of Chasiv Yar, Russian forces restored control over Maiske and the eastern part of Veroliubivka. In the Slovyansk sector on the eastern flank, Russian units advanced west of Siversk and drove Ukrainian units from the heights north of Reznykivka. They are currently engaged in fierce fighting for Zakotne and Ilychivka. Kyiv and Washington have finished coordinating a joint military document that defines long-term support parameters.

Kupyansk Sector

The most intense fighting continues in the central part of the city. Russian assault groups repelled a series of attacks, during which Ukrainian units reportedly suffered significant losses in personnel and equipment.

Improved weather conditions were a key factor in changing the situation, as they allowed Russian drone operators to intensify their work. This offset the Ukrainian army’s numerical superiority and forced them to operate primarily in small groups supplied by heavy drones. On the northern outskirts of the city, Russian assault groups consolidated their positions in the Moskovka residential development, thwarting the Ukrainian command’s plans to use the area as a bridgehead for a counterstrike.

South of the city, on the left bank of the Oskil River, Ukrainian units are blockaded in the village of Bohuslavka. The redeployment of Ukrainian reserves to the area continues, indicating preparations for protracted combat operations. The situation is under control.

Kharkiv Sector

In the Kharkiv sector, Russian assault units are advancing through settlements and forested areas around Vovchansk. They are making intensive use of strike drones to target Ukrainian unit positions.

In the Staritsa area, Russian units advanced south and captured part of a forested area. In the forest southwest of Liman, assault groups captured two strong points and advanced up to 500 meters into the forest. In Vovchanski Khutora, the advance reached 200 meters. An attempt by two Ukrainian assault groups to advance with armored vehicles was thwarted; both groups were destroyed by intense firepower. In the Melove-Khatnie area, the clearing of forested areas near the border advanced 300 meters. Aviation and drones targeted identified areas in Chuhunivka and Velykyi Burluk.

Konstantynivka Sector

Active combat operations continue in the Konstantynivka sector. Russian units are fighting for control of the city itself, as well as the adjacent heights north of the Kleban-Byk Reservoir and the Stepanivka settlement to the southwest.

Within the city limits, fighting is taking place near the railway station, the technical college, and northeast of City Hospital No. 2. Fighting is particularly fierce for the heavily fortified T-junction of the H-32 and H-20 roads. Several positions between Ivanopillia and Berestok have been cleared, and Russian units have reached the outskirts of the latter. In the northwestern area around Chasiv Yar, control was restored over Maiske and the eastern part of Veroliubivka.

Slovyansk Sector

In the Slovyansk sector on the eastern flank, Russian units continued their offensive to the west of Siversk. Ukrainian units were driven out of several positions on the heights north of Reznykivka. There was an advance southeast of Zakotne, where fierce fighting continued in the northeast and east.

There is ongoing fighting for control of the Ozernyi settlement, where clashes are taking place in the northern, northwestern, and southern parts. In the Dibrova area, combat is concentrated in the southern part of the settlement. Russian units have also advanced northwest of Dibrova into the forested area towards Staryi Karavan.

In the central part of the sector, west of Siversk, heavy fighting continues. Units are advancing along the T-05-13 highway from Siversk and Platonivka. This will eventually allow them to control the supply routes to Ukrainian army strongpoints near the Shelkova gully. Ukrainian units were driven out of their positions on the approaches to Fedorivka, and fighting ensued for a chain of strong points northwest of the village. Separate assault groups have penetrated deeper into the defenses and are advancing toward the “Babachiy” forest.

Kramatorsk Sector

Russian assault groups advanced toward Nykyforivka. Consequently, Ukrainian units were driven out of the Bondarne settlement. There has also been an advance from the “Sorochiy” and “Babachiy” forested areas north of Pazeno towards Nykyforivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka. To the south, there is fierce fighting for control of Mynkivka, which is under attack from the northeast and the south.

Sumy Sector

Intensive combat operations continue on all sections of the front in Sumy Oblast. Assault groups are advancing along tree lines. Over the course of 24 hours, advances were recorded on six sections in the Sumy district and two sections in the Hrabovske area, totaling up to 600 meters. Having redeployed units from Zaporizhzhia Oblast to this area, the Ukrainian command continues to search for reserves to hold positions. In the Tetkino and Hlushkivka areas, the Ukrainian Air Force struck areas where Russian forces were concentrated near Iskryskivshchyna and Pavlivka.

Conclusion

In the Kupyansk sector, a tendency towards stabilization of the situation has emerged due to the increased use of drones and consolidation in Moskovka, although heavy fighting in the city center continues. In the Kharkiv sector, progressive advance is noted with the capture of strong points in the forests near Liman and Staritsa, as well as in Vovchanski Khutora, while attempts at counterattacks are being successfully repelled. On the Konstantynivka sector, fighting is taking place both within the city limits of Konstantynivka and at key road junctions and heights, while on the northwestern flank, control over previously contested settlements has been restored. On the Slovyansk sector, the offensive is developing west of Siversk with advance towards heights near Reznykivka and in forested areas, accompanied by heavy fighting for Zakotne and Ilychivka, while Ukrainian units actively use drones to contain the advance. On the Kramatorsk sector, advances towards Nykyforivka and fighting for Mynkivka are noted, and on the Sumy sector, assault groups advanced up to 600 meters on several sections.

Parallel to the struggle at the front, complex political and military-technical work is being conducted to ensure the further course. As stated by the Chief of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Andrii Hnatov, Kyiv and Washington have completed the coordination of a joint military document defining long-term support parameters. The document, consisting of four sections and appendices, details mechanisms for providing, restoring, and modernizing the Ukrainian armed forces and also includes provisions for monitoring the implementation of agreements and responding to possible violations. According to Hnatov, similar negotiations are now being conducted with other partners of the country. This work on institutionalizing and formalizing aid is being carried out against the backdrop of a complex military situation on the ground and forms the legal and organizational basis for continuing the conflict in the long term.
