South Korea has conducted a joint drill with a US supersonic B-1B strategic bomber. The North Korean state media said that the military exercises was “a nuclear bomb dropping role drill” and were held on Monday. However, Moon Sang-gyun, a South Korean Defense Ministry spokesman did not provide details on what was drilled during the exercises.

The South Korea-USA military drill took place after North Korea tested a new shor-range ballistic missile. The missile traveled about 450km and landed in the Sea of Japan, some 300 kilometers from Japan’s islands. The fired missile was reportedly a North Korean modification of the Soviet Scud-type projectile.

The North Korean media declared the launch a success on Tuesday, adding that it is “capable of making ultra-precision strike on the enemies’ objects at any area.”

Photos of the ballistic missile test released by the North Korean state media:

There is nothing more boring than N K making continuous threats to do this, that and the other every other week.

Its time for NK to actually carry out one of their threats and see what happens.

John Mason

If NK does what you suggest then it will be a free for all. When missiles are launched there is no guarantee that the US, SK with Japan will not strike Russia or China which means that Russia will strike first. Putin did say that any future wars will not be fought on Russian soil.

John Mason Escalation as you have described is a serious situation, its better for all sides to stay cool.

Fola Obisesan

The North Korean leadership is not stupid. The objective of their ballistic missile and nuclear programmes is to deter the Americans from attacking. I dont think the North Koreans will ever initiate an attack against SK/Japan/USA unless they are attacked first.

Fola Obisesan Yes you are right, hopefully there will be no need for any type of conflict.

Bernardo Morais

Speak that when are your ass that will be blown up.

“See what happens”could be your populations being atomic incinerated and your cities doomed.

How many crap can a stupid person say?

Bernardo Morais It was just a tongue in cheek comment.

What makes you think it’s doing it to entertain you. North Korea is following its schedule of testing. The weapons factory people have their own timetable for testing. It has nothing to do with the western media. Don’t come to these articles if you are “bored” with this topic. North Korea can do tests as often as it likes — maybe daily.

The country who wants to test North Korea’s resolution to retaliate if attacked will be committing murder-suicide.

North Korea is not anyone’s colony. Don’t make the mistake of thinking North Korea is the same as South Korea. North Korea dances to its own tune. It’s not a poodle, lackey or vassal.

If you think North Korea’s testing missiles for its self-defense are a threat to you personally, don’t elect a warmonger to your government. North Korea’s missiles will only be a threat to you if your government decides to attack North Korea on any pretext.

Particularly watch out for false flags. These ones can be done by a third party and blamed on North Korea. It won’t be North Korea’s fault, it will be your government’s fault for allowing these false flags to happen. https://apunked.wordpress.com
