On this New Year’s Eve, we, the SouthFront Team, once again want to express our deep gratitude to you for all your support, opinions, likes, comments and views. SouthFront is a crowdfunded endeavor created by the people for the people. Your high evaluation of our work is the sign that we are moving in the right direction.
Despite all the difficulties and challenges that SouthFront faced in 2019, we produced and released around 9,200 pieces of content in total including 7,000 pieces of text content (news, short analysis, in-depth analyses, surveys), 306 videos of various formats and length (from 3 to 30-minutes long) and over 1,900 pieces of pictorial content (including maps and infographics).
Our cumulative audience, including from partner resources, is made up of millions of readers and viewers from around the world. In 2019, we had over 11,000,000 visits, 31,500,000 views on southfront.org itself and 11,000,000 views of videos on the YouTube channel. The cumulated number of views of content pieces during the past year exceeded 100,000,000 views taking into account SouthFront’s main platforms, social media accounts, and partner sites and channels.
All this became possible thanks only to numerous contributions by volunteers from around the globe and the constant support of our audience. We once again want to say a “big Thank You” to all those who contributed their knowledge, skills, time or donations to SouthFront.
Dear friends, we wish all of you a Merry Christmas and happy New Year! We wish you peace, happiness and prosperity in 2020.
2019 was a relatively calm year with no global shocks or large regional conflicts. We hope that 2020 will continue along at least no worse a trajectory, indeed we wish an even better time for the entire world.
