THE US GOVERNMENT HAS TO MANUFACTURE ENEMIES TO JUSTIFY ITS HUGE MILITARY BUDGET
John LaForge provides two reasons why he believes the United States keeps rebuilding and improving its arsenal of nuclear weapons. First, the nuclear weapons establishment is protected by political and corporate interests that profit from the production of nuclear weapons. Second, the US government’s perpetual threat to use its nuclear weapons against any “enemy” allows the US President and the military to portray its use of so-called “conventional” weapons – including napalm, fuel-air explosives, thermobaric bombs, cruise missiles, cluster munitions, depleted uranium shells, phosphorous bombs, and killer drones – as “measured”, “limited”, “moderate”, “discriminate”, “accurate” and “controlled”. To remain the world’s only “superpower”, the U.S. is prepared to spend 35 billion taxpayer dollars (35,000,000,000 USD) every year for the next 30 years to “modernize” its nuclear weapons arsenal. But to justify spending such huge sums of money, the U.S. has to create theoretical “enemies”. It’s very reassuring to know that the “cold” war between the U.S. and all its manufactured enemies will never turn “hot”.
THE SURVEILLANCE STATE – IT CAN’T HAPPEN HERE
American politicians publically deny that they could be controlled, manipulated, blackmailed and used if the (purely hypothetical) surveillance state had access to the content of all of their emails and phone calls? THE AMERICAN COURT SYSTEM HAS BEEN ABOLISHED
Until recently, the American form of government had three equal parts; the Executive Branch (the President), the Legislative Branch (Congress) and the Judicial Branch (the Court System). Author Paul Craig Roberts, formerly the Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Economic Policy, explains how the Judicial Branch of government no longer serves the people but instead has become a servant working to enable Executive Branch fascism.
VICTORIA NUDELMAN TORPEDOS VISA AND MASTERCARD IN RUSSIA
Because of the Russian invasion of the Ukraine overthrow of the elected Ukrainian government by the U.S. State Department led by Assistant Secretary of State, Victoria Nudelman (now known as Victoria Nuland), VISA and Mastercard are being replaced in Russia by China UnionPay credit cards and ATM cards. After the Ukrainian coup, the U.S. government initiated sanctions against Russia and VISA and Mastercard stopped providing services to some Russian banks. China UnionPay was happy to expand their business in Russia while the Russian Federation builds its own payment card network.
