The first week of 2022 was a busy one for forces of the U.S.-led coalition in Iraq. Since the deadline for their withdrawal from the country expired on December 31, pro-Iranian forces who are on a quest to avenge al-Muhandis and Soleimani, have increased their attacks targeting the U.S. military.

Several attacks have already targeted the US Camp Victory military base near Baghdad International Airport, the Ayn al-Assad Air Base in the western Iraqi province of al-Anbar as well as the U.S. military base in the province of Deir ez-Zor in eastern Syria.

At the same time, at least 20 U.S. convoys came under attack in different parts of Iraq in 2022.

The latest massive attack which took place on January 9 hit seven convoys moving logistic supplies and military equipment for the US-led coalition

The convoys were targeted in the central province of Babylon, in the Yusufiya, Nebai and Abu Ghraib areas near Baghdad, and in the south: near the city of al-Diwaniyah, the capital of the southern province of al-Qadisiyyah and en route between the cities of Nasiriyah and Samawah.

Various Iraqi groups were involved in the attacks, including the al-Muhandis Revenge Brigade, the Khaybar Brigade, and the Islamic Resistance in Iraq – ‘Ashab al-Kahf.

The attacks were apparently carried out to honor the memory of Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, Deputy-Commander of the Popular Mobilization Units, and Iran’s Quds Force Commander, Maj. Gen. Qassim Soleimani, who were assassinated by the US around two years ago.

At the same time, on January 9, they were likely timed to the speaker elections in Iraq’s parliament, the first step toward forming a new government after a general election whose results have been contested by powerful Iran-backed factions.

Mohammed Rikan Hadeed al-Halbousi was reelected its speaker for a second term.

The meeting was marked by disarray, with the eldest member of Parliament being evacuated to the hospital apparently due to the stress.

The US-led coalition did not stay still.

Footage indicated that a state-of-the-art US system, the Raytheon Coyote, was deployed at the Ayn al-Assad Air Base along with C-RAM and AN/TWQ-1 Avenger systems.

The Coyote anti-drone system uses a small, expendable drone to intercept its target.

Most of the U.S.-led coalition troops had been reportedly withdrawn from the al-Tanf garrison in southeastern Syria to Jordan and the U.S. main proxy group at al-Tanf, the Revolutionary Commando Army (MaT), was deployed to guard the U.S. position.

U.S. forces and the MaT are regularly holding joint live-fire exercises in the southeastern Syrian area of al-Tanf.

The U.S. is also among the suspects behind an assassination attempt of Ahmad Abd al-Muttalib Abd al-Razzaq, commander of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units, on January 6.

Unidentified gunmen, at least four, raided his house in the district of al-Alam in the western part of Baghdad, and killed his wife and three children, leaving the commander seriously wounded.

The involvement of U.S. special services is yet to be proved. The only thing that is clear is that the standoff between foreign forces and Iraqi Resistance groups will continue to aggravate in the near future, leading to more casualties.

Iraqi are mostly Shia, 69-70% Muslim Shia, saying “power Iran-backed block” is laughable. Just because they agree with a lot of things doesn’t make them Iran slaves – is like saying UAE, Qatar, and Omen are KSA slaves. They have their own goals. Also, why wouldn’t they have the same goals as Iran? Dose the UK and US have the same goals against Russia and many other things? Yes, the British are a yanquis-backed group. Iraqi Shia has a lot of power because 70% of the country is Shia.

Yanquis pay Wahhabi (Ex-ISIS/Al-Qaeda) pigs to assassinate their targets, just like how CIA and Mi6 use MEK terrorists in Iran. But if you want to kill someone that really means they have no other options, yeah, for years Iraqi groups put yanquis in rat holes. Also, it is not a question if yanquis did it or not, just last year they killed PMUs in daylight. I said it before and I say AGAIN, the PMUs/Iraqi government MUST buy S-400 system and put it around yanquis bases, so if they try anything funny, the only time they laugh again is in bags going back where they came from.

I don’t recall anyone stating anything about slaves. Iraq only recently formed military, and trade alliances. First with Russia, then Iran, and Syria. If you recall, Iran, and Iraq didn’t exactly like each other. But, the alliance began quickly. Which is when resistance to US military presence in Iraq became a daily thing. Where this “Iran backed” thing came from, I don’t know, but the militia’s all seem to work through Iran. The term “backed” isn’t defined, I suspect it’s a reference to an organized chain of command, communication’s, intelligence sharing, and coordinating action’s. Iran is the region’s military power, and long time Russian ally, as is Syria. It follow’s that Russia, being a world power, with the Intelligence services, Geopolitical, and strategic experience would lead, chain of command is to the regional power, and then to the militia’s. Iran is the senior ally as well as advanced in military technology. This place’s Iraq at the same level as Iran, but seniority, and military capability goes to Iran. Iran is experienced as a regional power, and has access to Russia that no other Middle East country has. This isn’t about who’s got a bigger dick, it’s about logic, and reason. None of these country’s demand absolute rule, all that shit is a Western thing. I think it unwise to get all hung up on a term that’s used by journalist’s, (generally Western journalist’s) that must write using a required bias in order to keep their job. That Iran, and Iraq are on good term’s again after 44 year’s, and present a united front against their mutual enemy is what matter’s. It’s cooperation, and support that wins, and acting alone, and/or against an ally, or potential ally that loses..

Because Syrians and Iraqis have ethnic clashes even before Ba’athists came to power. Syrians have many ethnic clashes in the region, firstly with the Jews and then with Arabs, Turks and Iraqis.

The biggest ally of Russia is Egypt. Turkey and Iran have been great enemies of Russia in the past just like Mongols.

https://nationalvanguard.org/2022/01/30-years-of-american-dissident-voices/

“- The National Alliance is not motivated by “hate,” as the Jews claim, but by a very deep concern for the future of our people. – Of all the changes wrought by the rise to power of the Jews in America, the worst by far is the deliberate breaking down of the barriers between the races. – The National Alliance is determined to secure a future for our people by, first, bringing a strong sense of racial identity to our people. – Any race that wants to survive needs to jump out of the Jew-created “melting pot.” – Americans should not be pleased, and should not be proud, of our military aggression in the -Middle East — such intervention advances the interests of Israel, and harms the interests of White Americans and kindred peoples. – Israel and Jews worldwide prefer to have others, like Americans and Europeans, do their fighting for them.”

It is ironic how people of Europe are attacked for “racism”, while just about every other group of people believe their own group is superior. Only white people are forbidden from loving their own people, by definition most countries are racist and white countries are the least racist to our own detriment. Every group of people naturally prefers their own people to others, although everyone (including Europeans) are taught this means “hate” when applied to European peoples.

The word “racist” was coined by a Frenchman in the early 1900s, I forget his name. The term originally held a positive connotation, until Trotsky (Lev Bronstein) changed it into a negative connotation of “supremacy” and “hate” (Trotsky’s definition matches the jewish definition, they are the most hateful and negatively racist people on the planet).

You decry western imperialism, falsely equating it to “White supremacy” and have no problem with imperialism, as long as it is Russia or some non-white entity. However the west is not pro-white and hasn’t been for over a century, falsely equating it with your view of “white supremacy” is inaccurate.

I don’t think you understand the other side, at least try to learn who your real enemies are and what they think. The notion that America, etc are “Fascists” or “Nazis” is pretty far away from the truth, this is nothing more than propaganda.

The largest operation of atrocity propaganda in history has since been used to deem self-preservation of European stock and rejection of anything that harms them as “bigoted” and “hateful”. Merely wanting to be left alone is “hateful”, then attacked as “hypocritical” due to colonialism. Which is ironic since every group of people alive today have partaken in the very same violent activities. They have no place expecting us to care about their interests, while they are busy attacking our own.

You are partly correct. But the American white nationalism is misguided because Americans are mostly mixed and America belongs to the reds.

Christopher

“White women must cohabit with members of dark races, and white men with black women. Thus the white race will disappear, for the mixing of the dark with the white means the end of the white man & our most dangerous enemy will become only a memory. We shall embark upon an era of 10,000 years of peace & plenty, the Pax Judaica, & our race will rule undisputed over the world. Our superior intelligence will easily enable us to retain mastery over a world of dark peoples.” Rabbi Emanuel Rabinovich

Death by a thousand little cuts.

If Iraq can be stabilised the quicker the remaining Americans can be forced out. I suspect in the short to medium term the more hardline factions will reduce their stocks of missiles etc by firing these at the Americans which will help to stabilise the situation. Meanwhile we will see if Iran will agree to cut back on poking America in the eye in exchange for their oil to be traded on world markets.

Tahsin

America is only interested in stealing all the oil nothing new.

all these attacks are useless and meaningless so long as there are no americunt casualties or major equipment damage, start targeting all of them yanks, kurds, turds etc and destroy there oil smuggling convoys from syria to iraq and start sending them home in body bags federal express then things will change fast
