Suicide attack killed more than six in central Iraq

It is reported that on Sunday, at least, six people were killed in a suicide attack in central Iraq.

According to a security source, a suspected ISIS suicide bomber targeted families trying to flee the town of Hit, near Ramadi; twelve were injured in the blast.

It is also reported that ISIS targeted people by roadside bombs to prevent them from fleeing the town.

The security source also said that 35 ISIS militants were killed in airstrikes by coalition forces near al-Kasriyat, about 90 kilometers west of Ramadi.

Recently, the Iraqi Army forces have entered the strategic city of Hit in the province, and the operation to win back the city and army has intensified its attacks to liberate Mosul.

Since June 2014, Iraq has been observing ISIS terrorist activities. The US-led coalition started its operations allegedly hitting ISIS, although many believe ISIS is a creation of the west.

However, the 66-member coalition has been failing to control ISIS terrorism, when a concerted push by Iraqi forces are dealing terrorists and forcing it out of the central city of Ramadi, the capital of the western Anbar Province.
