On August 17, several videos documenting some of the Russian military’s recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online.
Seven videos show attacks with FPV suicide drones, grenade-dropping drones and interceptor drones that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment across several directions in the special military operation zone in the last few days.
Another video shows an attack with Geran-type fixed-wing suicide drone on a communication tower used by Kiev forces as a drone command center between the settlements of Kholmy and Mamekino in the Chernihiv direction.
Two other videos show artillery strikes with Krasnopol guided shells that targeted a crossing on the Volchya River, and a salvo of thermobaric rockets fired by a TOS multiple launcher that hit Ukrainian fortifications near the settlement of Ambarnoe in the Kharkiv direction.
One additional video shows airstrikes with UMPK-equipped guided glide bombs and a LMUR guided missile that targeted Ukrainian positions near the settlement of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk direction and other positions in the settlement of Antonovka in the Kherson direction.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, Kiev forces have lost 665 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 77,959 drones, 625 air defense systems, 24,618 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,625 multiple rocket launchers, 28,625 artillery pieces, and 39,813 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
