On August 20, several videos documenting some of the Russian military recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online
15 of the videos show dozens of attacks with FPV suicide drones, grenade-dropping drones, loitering munitions, and interceptor drones that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment across several directions in the special military operation zone in the last few days.
Another video shows three strikes by a Forpost-R combat drone that targeted Ukrainian equipment, including air defense systems, near the settlement of Obody in the Sumy direction.
Three other videos show strikes with UMPK-equipped guided glide bombs that hit fortified positions and drone launch sites of Kiev forces near the settlements of Ivanovka, Konstantinovka in the Donetsk direction, as well as close to the settlements of Gremyach and Kuty Vtoriye in the Chernihiv direction.
In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced in its daily briefing that missile, artillery and drone strikes hit “waterfront structures used to supply fuel to the AFU (Armed Forces of Ukraine), assembly point of unmanned aerial vehicles, temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed groups and foreign mercenaries” in 148 areas over the last 24 hours.
The ministry also said that Russian air defenses shot down one United States-made HIMARS projectile and 217 fixed-wing drones during the same period.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 665 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 78,434 drones, 625 air defense systems, 24,677 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,588 multiple rocket launchers, 28,737 artillery pieces, and 40,014 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
