Several videos documenting some of the Russian military’s recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online on August 21.
14 of the videos show dozens of attacks with FPV suicide drones, grenade-dropping drones, and interceptor drones that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment across several directions in the special military operation zone in the last few days.
Another video showed a salve of BM-21 Grad rockets hitting a temporary deployment point of Kiev forces in the settlement of Pleshcheyevka in the Donetsk direction.
Three other videos show recent airstrikes that hit fortifications and positions of Kiev forces near the settlement of Doroshovka, Dvurechanskoye and Artemovka in the Kharkiv direction, as well as close to the settlement of Ivanovka in the Dnipropetrovsk direction and the settlement of Dimitrov in Donetsk.
The airstrikes were carried out using UMPK-equipped guided glide bombs, including at least one FAB-3000, and a Kh-38 guided missile.
In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced in its daily briefing that missile, artillery and drone strikes hit “production, storage, and launching areas of long-range unmanned aerial vehicles, temporary deployment areas of the AFU (Armed Forces of Ukraine) and foreign mercenaries” in 153 areas over the last 24 hours.
The ministry also said that Russian air defenses also shot down four guided aerial bombs and 294 fixed-wing drones during the same period.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 665 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 78,728 drones, 625 air defense systems, 24,697 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,588 multiple rocket launchers, 28,772 artillery pieces, and 40,095 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
