On August 28, a supposed Syrian Air Force airstrike hit a Turkish observation post near Sheir Magher in Syria’s northwestern Hama. The strike took place following Hayat Tahrir al-Sham forces’ attack on positions of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) near Abu Dali in eastern Idlib.
Radical militant groups, including Hayat Tahrlr a-Sham, often deploy their positions used to shell SAA positions near Turkish observation posts. This puts Turkish troops into a constant danger.
You have to do what you have to do.
Poor Turkish sods. Sent into the Idlibistan Terrorist Reservation by their Great Leader for the glory of their Great Leader, having to live among headchoppers and run the risk and consequences of their actions. Considering that Turkish soldiers are conscripts I highly doubt that most of them want to be there.
My money is on US or Israeli drones. An attempt to get Turkey away from Russia.
