Swedish security services are on high alert amid a threat of terror attacks.
Swedish media report that several ISIS militants have arrived in Sweden to conduct attacks on civilian targets in Stockholm.
“Right now we’re gathering information and intelligence and coordinating with our national and international partners,” TT news agency cites security police spokesman Simon Bynert.
According to Bynert, security services are cooprating with the police.
According to reports, the information about expected attacks came from the Iraqi special services. The reports argue that 7 or 8 ISIS militats are in Sweden to carry out terror attacks in the capital, Stockholm.
We remember, on April 1, the International Centre for Counter-Terrorism (ICCT), publisheda research, clamining some 300 Swedish nationals have traveled to Iraq and Syria to join ISIS.
