On Wednesday, the Hezbollah media wing in Syria released another statement of “the joint commander center” of Syria’s allies. (more about the center could be found HERE and HERE)
In the released statement, the joint command center (consisting of Lebanese Hezbollah and other pro-government groups, including some from Iraq) declared a readiness to relatate to the US-led coalition agression, including striking US troops positions near At Tanf at the Syrian-Iraqi border.
The statement described the US-led coalition actions as a signal of supporting of terrorism in Syria and said that pro-government forces have capabilities to strike the area with rockets and other means.
According to the statement, Damascus didn’t react to the Tuesday attack thanks to a high level of the self-control. However, the retaliation strike will be inevitable if the US and its allies cross the red line.
The red line has been cross already many time. Striking pro-american forces with rackets will have limited impact and in return americans will fire back with Airstrikes and will destroy pro-Assad force. If SAA does not have high tech Air Defence System in place and a lot better air force would not be advisable to strike pro-america forces at this time. First, SAA needs better military hardware

Isn’t this approximation of a legitimate order what every country’s people would wish as protection from external assault – even the corporation called United States in Washington?

Would be better if they could hit US bases in Jordan and Iraq with terror proxies or Spec Ops. If they aren’t willing to position s300s where they can hit, even if it be over Jordanian airspace, there is no point in reinforcing those positions.
The Syrian army is not a terrorist army nor is Hezbollah. They should not go to the same terrorist level like the US. They can shoot rockets, yes but not terrorist attacks inside bases.
Is no different from using Spec Forces to destroy enemy logistics behind the lines or to demoralize them. Military targets are by definition not civilian – attacking them is not a terrorist act no matter who is acting.
When I use the phrase “terror proxy” is perhaps incorrect depending on the specific group – “irregulars” is maybe more correct.
In any event if they are not willing or able to take down coalition aircraft to defend their ground assets, they aren’t going to be able to counter this activity conventionally. I haven’t seen any indication they are prepared or able to do so, time for plan B.

What is Syria’s “red line”? If foreign countries bombing your own troops on their own land isn’t crossing a red line, what is? There must be some response, some signal, that this American behaviour will not be tolerated. Will you tolerate them bombing the Syrian garrison in Deir-ez-Zor again? No. Will you tolerate them bombing the relief troops marching from Palmyra? No. Take out at least al-Zuqf if not al-Tanf.
There are several lines made for different purposes. Russians has lines for, where they will give SAA(and affiliates) air support. same thing for USA supporting YPG/YPJ. When YPG/YPJ tryed to take Jarablus and Al Bab, they were out of zone and therefore got no airsupport.
Another kind of line is the airspace, where Russians and americans can bomb free, but they advice each other to avoid collisions as well a unfriendly fire.
In the western part Assads has agreement with several others there having safe zones – non bombing zones.
Americans has been the only one i the desert along the Jordanian/iraqian border. Now and then we have seen som FSA or FSA look a likes there. Until now the targets has been to control or block the 2 only real roads crossing into Jordan and Syria.
But that has changed because ISIS has the only way out. And FSA has changed too. They now attack (back) at SAA which havnt been there for years and now attack FSA (& Tanf). FSA is under big pressure at Daara, and Im sure they also do it to take pressure from Daara.
So USA has made a 50 km shield for themselves and the US Tanf bordercontrol. But very convenient FSA can use it as a shield. And it is announced, so its no surprice those bombs fell hard at SAA & affilates.
I would as a kind of neutral also say, they could hardly be there without accept from Bagdad even they are supported from Jordan. I would also say, that ISIS supply by there – if they still can do it also – are bullets against SAA and reinforments at the southern side of Palmyra.
So thats how it is. FSA is out there now attacking SAA and USA seemes to make and plan raids along the border disturbing ISIS as much they can from there.
