Syria Holds U.S. Responsible For Recent Attack On Military Bus In Central Region

Syria has held the United States responsible for a recent attack on a military bus in the central region that left dozens of soldiers dead or wounded.

The attack, which targeted a shuttle bus of the Syrian Arab Army, took place near the T2 pumping station in the southern countryside of Deir Ezzor on August 10. The London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a pro-opposition monitoring group, said that 33 soldiers were killed in the attack.

ISIS claimed responsibility for the deadly attack in a statement that was released by its official news agency, Amaq, on August 11.

However, the official Syrian Arab News Agency issued a statement late on August 12 from the foreign ministry accusing “the American occupation forces and their terrorist groups” of targeting the bus.

“This criminal and terrorist aggression” comes “in the context of the support and sponsorship of the United States of America for terrorist organizations, at the forefront of which is Daesh,” it said, using the Arabic acronym for ISIS.

The U.S. and its allies within the so-called international coalition against ISIS maintain a garrison in the southeastern area of al-Tanf and a network of bases at key oil and gas fields in Deir Ezzor and the neighboring governorate of al-Hasakah in the northeastern region without the approval of the Syrian government. Most of these positions are linked to ISIS’s areas of influence in the central region.

The attack on the military bus near the T2 came following warnings by Russia and Syria of a plot by the U.S.-led coalition to train terrorists at al-Tanf garrison in order to further destabilize the central region.

“syria holds us responsible for …”,and what, what will come of it, or is it just more entertainment and “he said/she said” for the peasants, we all know who did it, we want to know how to stop it

russia must activate the s 300 and 400 to close the sky over syria, the golan, libanon and the mediterranean coast. iran drops the mother of the bigest bomb on the terrorist garisons. send submarines to the mediterranean (if they are not yet there) to kill the yankee fleet. russia take off the gloves and afther ultimatum off 60 minutes to render the yankee, turky occupied territory to the syrian army. if not , exterminate them !!!

Beťar

v sýrii treba zintenzívniť bojové akcie a hlavne ich teraz treba zamerať na samotné usa!!! vyženiete usa a budete mať pokoj!!!

this is a known fact.

assad an russia alone cannot dislodge america from syria. it was a mistake to not normalize ties with turkiye, thinking erdogan would lose. i warned about assad letting that window of opportunity close. now it seems to have closed. he should just hope that civil war doesn’t break out in lebanon because lebanon is on the brink right now. a close russia/turkiye cordination in syria is the quickest way to expel the americans.

“syria holds u.s. responsible for recent attack on military bus in central region” how incredibly impressive. i wonder if jordan, iraq, turkey, iran and the rest of the middle east can hold assad aka mr ass-hat responsible for the drugs smuggled to these countries from syria?
