Israel has conducted several airstrikes through Lebanon’s airspace on targets in Syria, according to local media in Lebanon.

Syrian State Media said that Syrian air defenses have intercepted targets in the sky of Damascus, launched from the airspace of the Lebanese capital Beirut.

The Israeli airstrikes on Syria have targeted the northern countryside of Damascus, Mezzeh’s military airport, Homs, and the Qalamoun region.

The Director of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that at least three Israeli missiles targeted alleged sites and weapons depot of Lebanon’s Hezbollah in Qalamoun around Damascus’s countryside near the administrative border with Homs governorate.

Loud explosions shook the Syrian capital during the reported air strikes, two days after the Israeli military reportedly conducted twin missile strikes on a Syrian army base and an outpost controlled by Lebanon’s Hezbollah.

A military source told Syria’s official SANA news agency that most missiles fired by Israel had been intercepted by its air defense systems. The source said the missiles had come from the direction of Beirut in neighboring Lebanon just after 11 p.m.

There were no immediate reports of any casualties.

“The results of the aggression are being looked into,” the source told SANA.

Damascus residents reported hearing at least five loud explosions that shook apartment buildings over a 15 minute time span. The missiles appeared to have been fired from over Lebanon, jolting residents who heard them streak across the sky before striking targets in Syria.

Blasts could be heard in videos distributed by SANA, which showed what appeared to be missiles streaking across the sky.

Leaflets dropped on southern Syria early August 18th by the Israel Defense Forces, warned Syrian soldiers against cooperating with Hezbollah, hours after twin missile attacks on military positions near the Golan Heights.

According to a pro-opposition Syrian source in the Golan Heights, the office of the 90th Brigade commander, Brig. Gen. Hussein Hamoush, near the city of Khader, was one of the targets of the previous, August 17th strike, which Syria blamed on Israel. The second target was said to be a Hezbollah outpost in the area.

“Be careful with your actions, you are being watched through a microscope. Hasham’s help has brought you destruction and his bad intentions are coming out. You are responsible for your actions, and Hezbollah is responsible for your suffering,” it said.

Next time Israel do it, Assad will receive the S-300, if Israel do it again!

Stupid as fuck. Can you read at least? “Civilian aircraft heading towards Beirut airport were affected during the Israeli Air Strike on Syria.”

This is why Syria cannot respond in full force to the coward zionists. These cockroaches always hide behind other nations airplanes.

Thanks a lot for impartial reporting.

Which one is the terror group? The one who fights real terrorists for safety of the world or the one who attacks in the dark of the night in support of the said terrorists?

I don’t expect to see reports as reality suggests (“Zionist terror army conducted missile terror attacks on Syrian government installations and near residential area“), but the least a reporter could do is to omit questionable labels and tags.

And a suggestion to friends and readers. Don’t ever lose your sensitivity and vigilance when you read, hear or see such labels. Remember that tomorrow it could be you who is called terrorist if you dare to resist and defend yourself just like Hezbollah does.

I agree.
Say, how desperate for attention someone must be to impersonate Iron_something or other?

Hey Garga, sorry I missed your post. I don’t need to cry a river my friend, ve ken ze ani rak yoter mevugar. Iran sending oil shipments to Hezbollah is a bad idea, we can not let it happen. Also, has anything changed now that Raisi is in power? atleast from your POV :)

The prodigal son returns! Well hello!

Seems we are all getting older.
Haven’t seen you around for some time. Why are you so pissed off for some fuel shipments to Lebanon? It’s just Diesel and Mazut and all spectrum average Lebanese are happy for that. Have mercy on yourself, the fuel will be delivered. The bad idea is Lebanon not having electricity because of fuel shortage and that we can’t have.
We probably live to see which side’s “can’t have” is stronger.

Anyway some guy pretended to be you before. Now I’m not sure it was you impersonating you or someone else!
Started to learn Persian yet?

And what change can Raisi bring? What we do is not his department so this is business as usual: We kick your intelligence’s bottom and they cry and pin prick SAA. ;)

Hey Garga, just to make it clear I’ve been posting here for the last 2 days and also once about 2 weeks ago against Hamas, but that’s it so I don’t know if someone else pretends to be me. Just write in Hebrew and I will respond to it, so you know it’s me.

About the oil shipments, my problem is that it has only one purpose – to increase Hezbollah’s political power and turn Lebanon into another Iranian outpost right at our border. Once your Quds force enter a place – they never leave. Lebanese will become hostages to your regime’s policy, and the final result would be a conflict – but I guess that is not something we can avoid anyway. In addition, it adds millions of dollars to Hezbollah, to sponsor more terrorism against Israelis (the way we see it).

Anyway I have written it to you before and I will write it again – I love the Iranian people, I think Jews and Persians share alot of common history and the people can and should be friends. It’s about a regime that has been seeking to hurt us since 1979, if we can get along with the Gulf states Iran can be no different as we didn’t have direct wars like against Syria or Egypt. Bennet is going to meet Biden next week, I’m sure Iran will be one of their main topics. For the sake of the ME and both of our nations – I hope Raisi won’t cross the nuclear point.

One thing I know in my heart – one day Israelis and Iranians will be friends again Gagra, take care.

Garga

So what if their political power increases by giving the Lebanese what they are deprived of by the US and its gang? At least it makes them happy not miserable. Unfortunately the fuel is not for free. We are being paid by a group of Lebanese businessmen and they’ll provide the fuel to population at a lower price compared to what they have to pay, that is if they can find any. So there’s no financial profit for anybody just an ease in unbearable conditions for the population.

The first shipments will be delivered to power plants and whatever factories they have, not for burning in their cars.
If your regime were smart it was you who sold the fuel and ended crisis, scoring major political capital and win the Lebanese hearts but I guess helping and solving problems is not one of their strong points as much as creating turmoil is.
That’s a good question to ask: Why the crisis went that way, who pushed it and why your regime or the US didn’t do what we done?

I totally agree with you that we can get along as it is evident in the lives of the Jewish Iranians. We live in excellent harmony as we lived for so long, saving at least twice your collective behinds if we to believe the story of Cyrus and also >10.000 European Jews given Iranian passports during WW2 turning them instantly into Aryans!

BTW, whatever happened to my redhead? I waited and waited for you and when I heard nothing I had to do it myself. Alas it was short-lived as I had to return home. :'( good memories… Plus the very attractive redhead I mean.

Take it easy.
