Syria Map Update: Military Stuation in Northern Part of Aleppo Province on December 5, 2016
I agree, but being the Democratic Confederalists they are, it isn’t always so isn’t so easy for someone to say, “Now all of you go here” and expect that to happen. (Recall the Boers in the 2nd Anglo-Boer War, who had a similar setup.) Individual units act as they think best. Many already have redeployed to the Manbij front, (and notice that the ar-Raqqa op has slowed down, and that the FSA-Turkish advance on al-Bab has gotten stuck), but others hang around ar-Raqqa because of the US logistics support they can acquire. The chance to grab some more ammo and weapons is pretty important to the SDF as a whole, so keeping something going on at ar-Raqqa to keep that coming benefits the whole. Besides, the irony of watching Turks and their FSA mercenaries being killed and killing yet more Turkish MIT trained and backed IS mercenaries must have a hilarious irony to it. No reason to interrupt that show.

They need to correct the terrorist pocket in East Aleppo – its so much smaller these days :-)
This south front is one of the best syria web sites I’ve seen.
Come on, kurds, stop the Raqqa offensive and redeploy towards Al Bab. USA are playing you like sock puppets, with their hand deep inside your anus.
seems they’ll never learn. -_-
