The Russian Defense Ministry has announced that an agreement on safe zones in Syria will come into force on Friday at 21:00 GMT.
Turkey, Iran and Russia signed a memorandum on establishing four safe zones in Syria on Thursday during another round of the Astana peace talk.
“It was supported by all principal players, including the UN, the US administration, Saudi Arabia and other nations, so there is a certain degree of guarantee that the memorandum will be implemented,” Deputy Defense Minister Aleksandr Fomin said according to RT.
Thus, military activities and aircraft flights in the safe zones will be banned starting from May 6.

There is something about this which stinks…
In order for these safe zones to be enforced, they need Syrian and Russian ground troops supported by SAMs. Vigilance against blame shifting attacks must be exercised.
Why do people think it was smart to exclude US from flying over the safe zones? The terrorists they feed are located there, why would they bomb them?
