AlMasdarNews reports: The first solar powered well has finally been installed in Deir Ezzor City after a two year absence of running water in civilian homes.
This first solar powered water well was installed in the Al-Jourah District because of the large population in this area of the provincial capital.
Another 35 more solar powered water wells are expected to be installed by the Syrian government inside the Deir Ezzor Governorate in the coming months.
